The main breakdowns of Renault Kaptur during operation. Where is Kaptur not Duster, who is it a competitor to? We test the novelty on and off the road

ENGINE
Autorun work

Due to the rubber limit switch, the Kaptura autostart may not work.

It has been repeatedly noted that the autostart function of Renault Captur is malfunctioning. As a rule, the problem lies in the fact that the limit switch under the hood presses the hood stop - this is a rubber element against which the limit switch rests when the hood is closed. The reason is the insufficiently hard rubber composition from which the stop is made. Because of it, the limit switch does not work and, as a result, problems arise with autostart. It is enough just to strengthen this emphasis.

To solve the problem, the limit switch will need to be strengthened.

You can do everything yourself or go to the dealer for diagnostics, although sometimes the salons do not immediately recognize the case as a warranty.

RTI
RTI quality

Captura seal problems are becoming widespread.

Rubber products are a clear drawback of Renault Captur. Perhaps it's the rubber composition.

This is especially noticeable on the seals. A defect manifests itself in clicks during door opening. On the rear doors, the seal next to the lower molding is most often problematic. In the process of opening, it breaks, crumples against the front door and turns out, and this field clings to the inner side of the molding. Naturally, such an element will not last long.

In addition, trouble begins with the upper front door seal - during opening, it touches the rear door element, as a result of which it folds back. A click is also heard.

The seals also cling to the door moldings.

As practice shows, the only solution is to contact a Renault dealership. However, some salons refuse to make a warranty replacement, arguing that the case is permissible. However, the most interesting thing is that when asked whether a replacement will be carried out if the seal breaks, they also refuse, saying that this moment will be considered operational wear.

In this case, there is only one thing left - contacting the Renault dealership with a complaint about the dealership, if the salon refused to carry out a replacement under warranty.

Seal in front doors

A common problem with seals.

Some car owners notice that the seal in the front doors literally "walks". It either decreases or increases in length. For some, such a problem first appears on the passenger door, and later on the driver's door, for others, on the contrary.

Sealant and paint

Such troubles may arise.

Some owners notice that the lower door seals are actively wiping the paintwork. The reason is a miscalculation in the design. To avoid future corrosion, it is recommended to stick a strip of armor film.

SUSPENSION
Under-inflated tires

Incorrect tire pressure is a problem for many Kapturs.

During transportation by auto transporters, the pressure in the wheels of Renault Kaptur is intentionally increased in order to make the car more stable. However, in the salons, during pre-sale preparation, they often forget to bleed off the excess air, so after the purchase it will not be superfluous to check this point and, if necessary, equalize the pressure.

It is necessary to correct the pressure in the tires with an eye to this plate.

CV joints anthers

On some machines, CV joints anthers may be defective (cracks or tears). If any, you must contact the dealer for a replacement, as in this case the warranty for Renault Captur is valid. Therefore, even if the manager insists on a paid replacement, it is recommended to refuse, and if there is no reaction from the salon, write a complaint.

By the way, replacing the boot at a dealer costs about 4,000 rubles, of which the price of the original boot is 1,500 rubles, and 2,500 rubles must be paid for work.

Lockers

Sloppily installed fender liner.

Sometimes on bumps you can hear characteristic clicks. They arise due to the fact that the plastic wheel arch liner gets under the shock absorber spring. The reason is a sloppy installation in a dealership, because these fenders are purchased as an add-on. equipment. To solve the problem, you just need to straighten the plastic of the wheel arch liner and put it in place, without even having to remove the wheel.

However, it is not difficult to fix it.

STEERING
Steering bumps

Occasionally, a situation arises when the steering wheel begins to shake during a turn, and characteristic sounds are heard in the cabin emanating from the steering rack. The sensations are similar to those when the power steering lacks performance. At the same time, the owners note that hanging the car on the lift does not show anything. If such a problem occurs, please contact your dealer. Where, quite possibly, a request for the Moscow plant will be made.

The sound can be heard in this video:

BODY
Doors close poorly

During operation, some notice that the doors can only be closed after a strong bang. Moreover, as a rule, the problem arises with any one door, while the rest are usually all right.

There are two options for action in this situation. First you need to check how coaxially the door lock hinge is installed on the rack. Perhaps it is slightly skewed. In this case, adjustment is necessary. If this does not help, it is recommended to try opening and closing the door with the glass down. Many people notice that in this case the door closes much easier. If so, you need to open the trunk of Renault Captur and peel off the ventilation valves located in the area of \u200b\u200bthe rear arches. Usually, after following these recommendations, the problem disappears.

Grease in doorways

Absolutely nothing serious, but such carelessness in the work of the masters is clearly not encouraging.

This "jamb" should be attributed rather not to the factory workers, but to the employees of dealerships, who carry out pre-sale preparation, lubricating the stops and locks. Of course, zeal for work is good, as well as the fact that they obviously do not save on lithol. However, this is done too sloppily. The result is grease spreading over the doorways. Of course, there is nothing catastrophic in this, because it is enough to simply wipe the lithol with a piece of cloth, but the sediment remains ...

Door handles

The Captura door handle can get stuck in this position.

Sometimes the outer door handle sticks - after closing the door, it does not adhere to the body and has to be pushed. Sometimes the problem disappears by itself, but for greater confidence it is recommended to lubricate it with WD-40 fluid.

Trunk is open

This is the message that sometimes appears on the Captur multimedia display while reversing, although the boot lid is securely closed. Over time, it stops displaying. This message does not interfere with anything when driving - you just need to wait a little while the seals are worn in.

OPTICS
Adjusting the light beam

Checking the light beam on the lens is almost mandatory.

It will not hurt to check the headlights and foglights - they are often simply piled down. As a result, the fog lights shine literally under the front bumper, and the angle of adjustment of the headlights can be different. It is recommended to carry out a full check and adjustment on the "lens".

GLASS
Rear glass

In this case, the factory robot, or rather its customizers, is to blame.

This small defect is not visible if you do not look closely. It consists in the fact that the right side of the glass in the fifth door is slightly piled down. Most likely, the whole thing is in small errors in the settings of the factory robot gluing the glass. You shouldn't "bother" about this at all.

INTERIOR
Interior clearances

Slight assembly error.

This is the gap between the floor covering and the dashboard in the area of \u200b\u200bthe hood opening lever. There may be an interval of about 10 mm between them. Nothing critical, especially since this Kaptura minus (if any) is practically invisible. Also, some have uneven gaps between the dashboard and doorways - on the driver's side, the plastic adjoins closely, but on the passenger side it is clearly lacking.

Air deflector

Many people have problems with central deflectors.

Sometimes the central air deflector stops closing - the adjusting dial turns, but the curtains remain stationary. This moment has already become massive for Renault Kaptur. The case is under warranty, since the hinge is out of order, so the repair is carried out at the dealer.

Glove box

Sometimes the cover of the "glove compartment" simply falls out when driving from vibrations, and during closing there is a distortion. Moreover, all fasteners are intact. If you can't do anything on your own, you need to go to the dealer.

After overstepping a short foray into the territory of real off-road and getting acquainted with the great and terrible, the heading "five things for which ..." returns to the cozy territory of "urban crossovers". However, is it really that cozy? Renault Kaptur has been waging a war with another vigorous upstart - Hyundai Creta for a month now, about which and which turned out to be, to put it mildly, not infallible ... So what prevents the "Frenchman" from taking over?

Hate # 5: Back row crowded

When assembling a compact crossover, as in principle when creating any car of small dimensions, engineers solve this problem: why give a little more space in the rear of the car - the trunk or the rear row of seats? In Renault Kaptur, the problem was solved in favor of the trunk, here it has a pretty decent 387 liters. But if you are more than 180 cm tall, you are hardly destined to sit on the back sofa with the proper comfort - there are few places in your knees when landing "by itself". This is not Captur's biggest problem, but many owners note it.

1 / 2

2 / 2

Love # 5: rich options

But in terms of equipping with options, Capture is in complete order. Yes, there are those who complain about clearly “marketing” configurations, forcing instead of the “middle” to take almost “full stuffing”, but this is, perhaps, a common place for most car brands in the middle price segment. But those who have chosen rich configurations invariably praise multimedia, cruise control, as well as powerful heating and blowing of the windshield. And at the same time, the price does not fly to sky-high heights - for a little over a million you can get an almost top version. Many? But at Crete, more or less decent configurations are just beginning with this amount.

Hate # 4: poor visibility

A rather unexpected drawback for a modern crossover, because we all have long been accustomed to the wide body pillars of current cars - they are made as such in the name of passive safety. However, Kaptur's front body pillars (the so-called "A" pillars), apparently, also have an extremely poor angle in terms of visibility - they are piled up to the roof so much that almost every second owner of the car rests on them with a look - and writes a comment full of discontent about this. Small and uncomfortable side mirrors complete the picture, with which Kaptur continues the sad tradition laid down by Logan ... No, the mirrors are completely different, but, according to the owners, they still lack space.

Love # 4: high ground clearance

Maybe it’s not really out of place, but the UAZ Patriot comes to mind again - this love for it we got with continuous reservations: for any plus of the car there was always some "but". Everything is not so bad at Kaptyur, but here this idea can be traced - there are those who declare that the ground clearance, they say, is good, but more could have been done.

Note that these comrades are clearly one of those who moved from the Niva or (again, he, but what is it, holy, holy!) Patriot. But those who owned civilian "puzoterkami", from the geometric patency of Kaptyur in complete delight. Indeed, 204 mm of clearance (albeit passport ones, with an error) is necessary and sufficient in the conditions of an average Russian city, where Kaptyura is the place.

Hate # 3: no cup holders

It is impossible to create a car that suits a Russian if there is nowhere to put a glass in it. But seriously, with the useful volumes and cavities in the Capture's cabin, it turned out to be an obvious mistake. In addition to the rattling "gazelle" box with a lid on the "top" of the front panel and rather modest pockets in the doors of containers, there is simply no place - there is absolutely nowhere to put any everyday trifles like flash drives, pens, business cards and coins in the interior of the crossover.

The only niche entrusted with these functions is under the dashboard, and it is clearly overloaded with functions - it contains a cigarette lighter, an all-wheel drive control washer (on 4x4 versions), and that notorious cup holder. It is too small, glasses of any size do not hold in it, and high ones also interfere with the gearbox selector. A cup holder for rear passengers is no better, nothing can be put into it.

Love # 3: informative steering wheel

And here we will make a reservation - there are also those who do not consider the steering wheel of Kaptyur to be adequately informative. However, if you take into account the rather civilian image of the car, the large suspension travels and by no means a low center of gravity, it turns out that the steering of Captur is really set up quite well. The electrohydraulic booster does not transfer too much road trifle to your hands (the exception is uneven turns at high speeds) and tells the steering wheel quite; the car stands well on the high-speed line. Yes, this is not a sports car, but there is some kind of rally enthusiasm in it - thanks to a clear steering wheel and good suspension (see below).

Hate # 2: a cheaply decorated salon

Ardor with enthusiasm, and a Russian person likes to be richer, but for a lifting price - whatever one may say, but from the inside at your car you look 90% of the time. And here Kaptyur gives a blunder - even the most loyal buyers of this car celebrate the cheap hard plastic of the interior. This drawback, as it were, continues the previous reason for hatred - everything is not very good with Capture's interior, starting from the texture of the plastic and ending with the lack of illumination of important areas and several illogically located buttons. Yes, these are all budgetary costs. And even though the ergonomics of the internal space are well verified, a fair number of owners visit the feeling that comfort is a little lacking.

Love # 2: good exterior

But passers-by hardly know about these sorrows - they still continue to turn heads at Kaptyur. Moderately catchy front, laconic feed, harmony in the proportions of the silhouette and an interestingly designed lower part of the sidewall, in which a wide molding forms a kind of "waist". Captur looks lean and very topical - it seems that Renault's head office has finally realized that even a not too expensive car should not look like a steamed rutabaga. Both men and women celebrate Capture's good looks - a rather rare case when the unisex design worked as it should.

Hate # 1: lack of momentum

This appearance and character would match! But no, judging by the reviews, none of the "engine + transmission" options provides sufficient acceleration dynamics. Owners of versions 1.6 MKP, 1.6 AKP (of course) and even 2.0 (AKP) complain about the sluggish nature of acceleration. A rather elderly four-band "automatic", installed on Kaptyur, tries its best to save fuel, pushing the top gear already at 65 km / h, but it also remains voracious, and does not add a fighting character to the car. Appearances are deceptive? Perhaps this is the case with Renault Kaptur.

Love # 1: a proven platform

But to put a new, in the style of "foreign" Captur, body on the proven "trolley" Duster was absolutely the right decision of the developers. The suspension, of course, was reconfigured, but it, having remained a little roll in the corners, still swallows irregularities of any type with a bang. It is dense and very long-stroke - this is what most modern crossovers are very lacking, and, therefore, this is what Captyur is utterly superior to competitors in. Excellent suspension settings cannot be taken away from him. And that's great.

It is interesting that during the months of owning a new car, Kaptyur, as a rule, does not reveal any significant defects of an operational nature, which is quite rare nowadays. The same Creta, with which comparisons cannot be avoided today, have a sufficient number of acquired "stocks". However, the number of small but sensitive design flaws that Captyur has, albeit slightly, outweighs in the eyes of consumers the disadvantages of Crete, which has powerful motors, a solid interior and an equally rich scattering of options. Today, this is valued more than the absence of corrosion and electronics problems. Perhaps that is why Hyundai Creta is now in sixth place in Russia, and Renault Kaptur is only in seventeenth ...

But for both of these crossovers, which have recently appeared on the market, the "bouquet and candy" period of life with their owners from among the first purchasers has already come to an end. And there is a feeling that over a long distance Kaptur has additional chances for leadership ... Wait and see!

The appearance of the car.
- Energy-intensive suspension. Swallows large irregularities well. Comfortable driving. Travel, suspension - moderately soft, moderately hard I like. irregularities, pits "swallows" class!
- Informative clear steering wheel.
- Capacious washer reservoir.
- I liked the work of Cruise control.

The frankly weak plastic of the front panel with an excellent design, the designers did not have enough fuse for the plastic for the front panel at least of average quality. It is a tarpaulin boot to the touch, although not to say that there is a phenolic smell in the cabin. Gives glare to the windshield. The joints of the dashboard and the right door do not coincide significantly. The gaps of the panel are different from the driver's side, it is not, but from the passenger side it is obvious, there is not enough elastic to cover the gap https://www.drive2.ru/l/10578994/
- Ergonomics miscalculations, the lack of cup holders (the one in the tunnel is terribly uncomfortable, the console between the driver and the passenger is disgustingly designed - this is the most cheap element of the cabin, also inconvenient in everything, the position of the automatic transmission lever is not highlighted, everything is by touch, the engine start button and the armrest look simply orphan. The cruise control and speed limit buttons are located very inconveniently - under the handbrake handle.
- Although LG multimedia is presented as a necessary functionality, I personally did not like it, and this is why: the quality of MP3 files playback is very average, it does not play video, even a photo cannot be viewed, frequency adjustments do not change the situation too much. The screen is of low brightness and clarity, on a sunny day it is perceived unimportantly, the delay in turning on the rear-view camera with dynamic markings on the screen when switching to the "R" mode, drowned out-started all the settings go astray.
- Lack of a normal wide armrest with boxing.
- Missing glasses case
- buttons for turning on the heated seats with mode 1 without illumination, located not very well.
- There is no illumination of the mirror adjustment.
- There is no illumination of the keys on the steering wheel.
- On the machine, weak dynamics (with manual "poking" and when spinning up for 4000-5000 still drives a little.
- Small tank, I would like at least 80 liters for this car.
- High fuel consumption.
- Inconvenient adjustment of the central air deflectors.
- A-pillars are wide and heavily sloped, which gives the "dead zone" a lot. And I would like more side mirrors.
- Bolts for fastening seat belts without plastic caps (even on VAZ they are closed)
- Little back room.
- The trunk is too small.
- The area of \u200b\u200bthe rear seat (back, where you can see the fastening bolt) did not have enough carpet, and also where is the hood opening handle (maybe just me?)
- The rear glass is not glued evenly (clearly visible)
- After installing the trailer (I removed the bumper for laying the wiring and connection), the plastic body kits of the rear wheel arches do not stand up normally, although everything is in place and all the latches are intact.
- I tried to sleep in the driver's seat ... I twisted it for an hour and drove on. The more you lower it, the steeper the protrusion rests against your lower back. I don’t know how anyone, but I’m complete crap. In Priora, Niva, Grant is better.
- Lack of factory roof rails (could have been delivered in the latest configuration).
- Alarm - low sensitivity, closing / opening on the key fob is not displayed, the maximum autostart threshold at subzero temperatures is -5 gr.

How much can fit into you? - every time this phrase breaks off the tongue when Kaptyur once again asks for a refueling, winking with a reserve fuel light bulb.

There is also something that is terribly annoying during the long-term operation of the French crossover.

Manufacturer - CJSC Renault Russia, Moscow
Year of issue - 2017
Mileage at the time of report - 8000 km

A modest crossover, but eats, sorry for the sharpness, like a mammoth. Appetite is fueled not so much by a two-liter engine as by an obsolete four-speed automatic. This is what I would ask to change in Capture in the first place, if a good wizard would offer me three wishes.

Fuel consumption

In the summer, when most of the kilometers traveled fell on driving on the highway, I was able to keep the consumption within ten-plus liters per hundred. But autumn came, the summer cottage season closed, the car moved to the city - and the consumption did not slow down to jump to a frightening level: 13 l / 100 km. And note: not "ninety-second", but strictly AI-95. And what will happen when frosts hit?

Via Bluetooth, you can dock your smartphone with the standard multimedia system and communicate on the phone without taking your hands off the steering wheel. Convenient and safe. True, some interlocutors complain that they cannot hear me well.

I fondly remember the Kaptur with a 1.6 engine and a CVT. Average operating consumption was about 10.5 l / 100 km. Moreover, I drove it for the cold half of the year, and the runs were small and mainly in the city - not comparable to the greenhouse conditions in which the Kaptur drove with the 2.0 engine. Under equal operating conditions, the difference in fuel consumption for these machines would be 20–25%. But the two-liter Kaptur with an automatic transmission is not as active as the 1.6 version with a variator as it consumes more. In addition, the 1.6 engine is better coordinated with the variator: the car responds more quickly to the gas supply, responds more adequately to changing road conditions. And it turns out that the most significant advantage of the two-liter version is all-wheel drive, which is available only with a more powerful engine. It is expensive to pay for the opportunity to bury all the hosts.

Climate control

The second desire is to bring climate control to mind. I complained about the heating operation, talking about Kaptur 1.6 (ЗР, № 2, 2017). But that was in winter. Summer operation revealed that the air conditioning system is also not functioning flawlessly. In general, she copes with the mission entrusted to her - she does not have to sweat in the heat. But it reacts sluggishly if the sun comes out because of the clouds - you have to manually set the temperature drop. And sometimes it starts blowing cold from the deflectors, when it is not stuffy at all outside: the system turned on the air conditioner to dry the air in the cabin. And again you switch to manual control.

Ergonomics

The third desire is to remove flaws in ergonomics. However, here, as doctors say, the dynamics are positive. The manufacturer listens to criticism, including from our side, and the number of miscalculations is reduced.

Therefore, I am still sketching a list of changes for the restyled Capture.

Firstly, you need to move the seat heating keys to a prominent place and provide them with an indication so as not to determine with your hand whether it's cold or hot. Secondly, remove the blind cruise control and eco-mode from under the handbrake. Thirdly, to untie the problematic knot on the center console - to remove the socket and the mode switch of the four-wheel drive transmission from the niche for small things, and at the same time the cup holder. Couldn't there be a better place for them?

A person gets used to good things quickly, that's how he is made. And when he gets used to it, he begins to strive for something better. My relationship with Capture is based on the same scheme. After several months of living together, I take his dignity for granted: I cease to notice bright features in appearance, admire the comfortable suspension and reliable handling, praise the electronics that make everyday driving easier. And, naturally, I pay attention to what I don’t like, because I want it to get better. In my opinion, a normal human desire.

Operation and maintenance costs (0-8000 km) *

Maintenance costs - 36 165 rubles. Of these, for gasoline (AI-95, average consumption 11.3 l / 100 km) -36 165 RUB

Cost of 1 km run - 4.52 rubles.

* Excluding expenses for OSAGO and comprehensive insurance policies.

Reviews

The car looks modern, the design, I think, is good. It is important for me that everything in the car is not too complicated: the simpler, the more reliable. There are no turbines, aluminum suspension arms, high-pressure power systems ... I am only happy about this.

The motor is chain, it runs quietly, it eats with my quiet ride in the city on the 8.4 l / 100 km onboard computer of the 95th. The variator is smooth, simulates the operation of a machine.
The dynamics, of course, are calm - there are no miracles.

Noise isolation pleases, the cabin is quiet. There is enough space. The trunk is not a record, but, fortunately, except for a couple of sports bags and bags from supermarkets, I carry nothing there. Music sounds so-so, listen to the radio and the flash drive will go.

Suspension from Duster, fulfills bumps perfectly. The ground clearance of 205 mm is impressive. It's comfortable to sit behind the wheel, there are enough adjustments. Was at zero maintenance after a month of operation - no complaints. I don't feel any vivid emotions, just a solid car.

Review of Renault Kaptur 1.6 front-wheel drive CVT

Video owner's review of Renault Captur

The first thing you have to get used to is the mechanic's 6-mortar box, with the 1st lowering, then, like everyone else, you can get under way from the second, i.e. in fact, the box is 5-speed, but with a "lowering". You touch the second, i.e. it is like the first, but in the place of the second, the second in the place of the third, etc. a little unusually, but you get used to it.

The first four gears are very short, starting from 60-65 km / h the computer asks for the 6th. At first it chilled out a bit, but then caught up: cruise control. It turned out to be a very convenient thing: it accelerated to 60, i.e. until the 6th gear, you turn on the cruise and then you can forget about the gas pedal on a more or less free track, adjust the speed only with the buttons on the steering wheel, you relax. For example, on a cruise at 110-120, it shows a flow rate of ~ 8 liters.

Of the shortcomings, in my opinion: when buying, listen to the engines - in our first one, which was chosen, after 5 minutes of warming up, a slight floating knock appeared, they took another typewriter. After I read that this is a common problem with these engines, and after a year it supposedly crawls out for everyone, we'll see. The doors ... do not close well, even after they have become a little heavier from the noise (there is something to compare with).

Ergonomics: some buttons cannot be reached without looking (the same cruise control under the handbrake, for example), some buttons are not in their usual places. Too bad there is no armrest. Siduhi ... you can live, but the lateral support is rather weak and an adjustable lumbar support would be nice.

Review of Renault Kaptur 2.0 all-wheel drive 4x4 with mechanics

After 1,500 km, the car seemed to be transformed. The engine began to produce its 143 horsepower. Throttle response and dynamics appeared. In city traffic Kaptyur rides with the "Economy" function quite confidently, I am not experiencing any difficulties now. Fuel consumption dropped to 11.5 liters, which is perfectly acceptable for a two-liter automatic engine.

On the highway, with a continuous stream and the need for fast overtaking, I turn off the Economy function, and my Renault Kaptur 2.0 4WD AT becomes completely different. Overtaking heavy trucks does not cause any difficulties. Acceleration from 100 to 130 is just a song, although driving on the highway with an automatic transmission requires some skill.

Suspension Capture is harsh. On a bad road at a speed of 90 km / h, all minor irregularities are felt on the steering wheel and on the "fifth point". I think that the settings of the suspension and power steering affect. My old Beetle went through small irregularities excellently, you just don't feel them, but it's easy to break through the suspension in deeper holes. Captur does not allow the suspension to break through, under any circumstances. Apparently, after all, Renault engineers prepared Captur not for road trips, but most likely for off-road driving.

Due to the rigid suspension, driving on the track does not give much pleasure. The automatic transmission has a double feeling. Four speeds are enough for driving in city mode, and there are no special remarks on the track. But in the city there are cases of hard switching from the first to the second. Not always, but there are hard shocks.

Owner's review about Renault Kaptur 2.0 with automatic and all-wheel drive 4 × 4

Where could I buy?

I can say that the automatic transmission did not disappoint me. Switches on time, without jerking, switching is imperceptible. It works absolutely adequately and predictably. High seating is nice. Good noise, the engine is not audible, the noise from the wheels does not bother. I did not notice aerodynamic noise either.

Overtaking trucks on the track without problems, from 90 to 130 accelerates confidently without any kickdowns. At a speed of 110-120, the average consumption for the computer is 7.8 liters per hundred. The sound is so-so, weak.

Roman, review of Renault Capture 2.0 (143 hp) 4WD automatic 2016

Clearance. It is declared 204 mm, "average" in reality is more, while not a single curb in front has scratched. The drive on Renault Capture, in my opinion, is excellent, the acceleration characteristics are better than on the Duster. Naturally, I'm talking about a 6-speed manual transmission.

Also on the car there are excellent wipers, they clean without "snot", huge surface coverage and do not need to be changed for the winter. Seats: heaven and earth, compared to Duster. Seats in the cabin, as in Duster, the ceiling seems lower, and the sides seem wider.

The headlights on one side are better, plus the LED daytime running lights, but on the other hand, I liked the feeling of two beams of light better than this diffuse light.

Of the minuses of Kaptura, the trunk has become smaller. First of all, because of the massive plastic overlays. A standard wooden-aluminum shovel could easily fit into the duster, but not here. You can contrive and shove, but the shovel will scratch the entire floor.

An unpleasant glitch was found on the speedometer. Initially, the numbers were shown in a beautiful rounded font, but (perhaps after the first frost) then "burrs" began to be drawn along the edges of the numbers.

Of the critical ones, this is the gas tank flap. Here they put the opening from the button (which, by the way, is in the very dirt next to the rug). The ingenious engineers pulled out all the giblets of the lock out (two tiny latches) and did not work on sealing. As a result, moisture and snow gets under the cover, and the hatch freezes dead. This is a very serious flaw.
