The GLS version, as the more expensive one, was distinguished by imitation leather interior trim, 16-inch alloy wheels with an aluminum spare wheel bracket, audio preparation, heated front seats, tinted glass, as well as fog lights and other improvements.

Later, with the possibility of adding an air conditioner, the LC and GLC configurations appeared, which corresponded to the previous versions equipped with this unit, which is very useful in hot weather.

In 2004, the company's management decided to complete all versions with electronically controlled outside mirrors with heating and audio preparation.

Among the standard lineup at the time, the Chevrolet Niva FAM-1 and the Chevrolet Niva Trophy were introduced into trial versions. The lots of these cars were initially very limited, but later their production was increased.

Chevrolet Niva FAM-1 was released in early 2006, and by the end of the same year it was decided to increase the production of this version.
