According to the analytical agency Avtostat, SUVs and crossovers occupy almost half of the automotive market. The SUV segment is extremely popular with buyers, whether it's a compact crossover or a large SUV. Planet-Auto Group of Companies is represented on the market by 18 car brands, each of which invariably has a model of the SUV segment. Such a choice can satisfy even the most sophisticated customer! And the group of companies regularly demonstrates in practice that an SUV is a reliable and comfortable car for the whole family.

Drive, adrenaline, passion! Participation in the off-road test drive organized by Planet Avto Group has become a good tradition for many Chelyabinsk families - the rally has been taking place for the third summer in a row. This year, in a big test drive on rough terrain "Heroes of the Off-Road - 2019. Sports Episode", the invited guests tested the strength of 27 all-wheel drive SUVs - the off-road challenge was challenged by daredevils driving cars of various brands - from Cadillac XT5 and Jaguar E-Pace to UAZ -Patriot ”and Chevrolet Niva. Anyone could take part in the races - for this it was enough to register for the event and present a driver's license.

The organizers offered motorists two tracks to choose from - an extreme one with steep ascents and descents, deep mud baths and a lighter one for beginners. The Planet-Auto company is one of the few that organizes such events for residents of the Chelyabinsk region. Many of the participants become regular guests of the rally, because they know that they will have a great time here. In total, last Saturday, July 13, more than 300 test drives took place at a unique testing ground near Chelyabinsk.

From year to year, Planet Auto GC strives to turn the “Heroes of the Off-Road” into a real family holiday, to make the event rich and interesting not only for the racers themselves, but also for their loved ones, because Chelyabinsk citizens come to the rally with their whole families. The company is a supporter of a healthy lifestyle and outdoor activities - it was decided to give the races "Off-Road Heroes - 2019" a bright sporty character. Funny relay races, tests of strength and endurance, archery - the organizers provided the Chelyabinsk residents with the opportunity not only to test the durability of severe off-road vehicles, but also to try their own hand at various sports competitions.

According to the organizers of the holiday, all the participants of the test drive, who conquered the off-road this year, coped with the tests perfectly. As a reward, the road tamers received a commemorative badge "Hero of the off-road", and everyone who took part in the family sports relay received pleasant gifts.

As the tests have shown, the SUVs bought at the Planet-Auto showrooms are well suited for off-road driving. Such a car will become a reliable companion in various extreme conditions and is simply indispensable for those who love sports and outdoor activities.

The entire line of Subaru cars is presented at the Planet-Auto showroom at 137 Kashirin Brothers.

It would be more honest to divide all four-wheel drive vehicles into three classes:

SUVs (real). On this one, you can really cheerfully slide off the asphalt road directly into the slurry mixed with tractors and, moreover, drive back whole and most often unharmed.

Universal all-wheel drive vehicles, comfortable on the highway and in city traffic, and at the same time, suitable for moving on bumpy dirt roads and light off-road.

Purely urban cars, unsuitable for off-road, even despite the often impressive dimensions, four-wheel drive and high ground clearance. The so-called "SUVs".

Let's go into details.

SUVs

We will argue logically, because one follows from the other. Off-road is an uneven dirt (in the most optimistic scenario) road, all kinds of stones, bumps, ruts, ravines, swamps, plowed fields and uneven terrain. Therefore, the correct off-road vehicle is, first of all, a strong, better frame structure, good geometric cross-country ability: large angles of entry-exit (to climb a steep embankment) and a ramp - longitudinal cross-country ability (to cross a hill, a log), ground clearance, as as a rule, at least 21 cm on a standard car (it is clear why), a downshift and at least one cross-axle blocking or traction control system is required. It's somehow embarrassing to even mention all-wheel drive ...

Dependent or independent suspension?

The off-road classic, dearly loved and revered by true Jeepers, is a completely dependent pavement, usually entirely spring or torsion bars in front, and springs in the rear. On rare occasions, you can still see cars with fully leaf spring suspension, but this is almost a throwback.

When choosing an off-road car, be attentive to the information you receive and filter all sorts of heroic stories that are common among incompetent journalists or dishonest sellers. For example, one of these tales says that an independent suspension is more suitable for off-road driving due to its better articulation and better contact of the wheels with the ground. But this is just a theory. Yes, each wheel lives its own life, runs independently, adheres perfectly to the ground, maintaining a good contact patch and reducing the risk of hanging and slipping.

However, the reality is far from rosy. In practice, the front independent suspension in modern cars, due to its factory layout, turns out to be quite short-travel and, despite its independence, the wheel hangs out quite quickly. There is a certain width and dimensions of the car, where you need to fit the engine and gearbox - the lever stroke is a priori small due to its length.

That is, oddly enough, on off-road vehicles of this class, the bridge has a greater stroke. The addict provides better articulation than the independent.

The exceptions are those cars with independent front suspension, which are built specifically for heavy off-road conditions - that's where the excellent long-stroke levers are one meter long! But all this romance is of little concern to us. On our machines, due to design features, the lever travel is small, and it hangs out quickly. There is another unpleasant nuance - when braking or pecking in holes with a front independent suspension, both wheels on the levers rise up, the gearbox and crankcase located in the center fall down, reducing the already small ground clearance and risking getting a bad hit on a stone.

The most significant disadvantage of independent suspension is the high cost of repair and the complexity of the design: a lot of levers, silent blocks, ball bearings, drives, CV joint anthers, which can be easily damaged by a literal sharp branch, and then dirt gets inside the CV joint and it breaks down, turning car in real estate. In many modern cars, the ball or silent block is changed only in assembly with a lever, which radically changes the size of the hole in the budget. If you want to make a camber after pokatushki, because the factory wheel tilt angles in the mud are lost, and you will be offered to change the entire lever, because the bolts in the silent blocks have acidified tightly, and you will not be able to adjust the wheel tilt angles.

Also, the complex multi-link design remarkably rakes up all the dirt, stones and branches that it encounters on its way.

Universal all-wheel drive vehicles

Completely pavement off-road vehicles, sadly, are gradually receding into the past as too highly specialized. And of those that are still being produced, a very small percentage is officially supplied to Russia. Therefore, a fairly large segment of the market goes to a certain intermediate option, which will delight the lion's share of motorists - these are large, comfortable and maneuverable cars, absolutely easy to drive, and they now make up the majority of all-terrain vehicles. The front suspension is always independent, and the rear one is either axle or multi-link independent.

The ground clearance is usually about the same 20 cm, but on some cars it can become higher. These are off-road vehicles with air suspension, which allows you to increase the ground clearance. For example, Land Rover Discovery 3-4, Range Rover.

"Automatic" or "mechanics"?

The classic stumbling block in the SUV selection phase is the gearbox. Which one to prefer, "automatic" or "mechanics"?

Off-road "automatic" is more vulnerable - it is easy to overheat or even burn when slipping, it has a very heavy load when towing, and most modern "automatic" have complex electronic "brains". You can't start it from the pusher. Engine braking is worse. Long distance towing is more difficult.

On the "mechanics" the connection with the machine is more real and understandable - you press the pedal and vividly feel how much effort goes to the wheels. On the "automatic", the interaction is carried out through the fluid coupling, and the sensations are not at all the same. At the same time, the “automatic” rides well, and many people ride with it, but the reliability of the “mechanics” is certainly higher. If a car is purchased at an age and with mileage, then the future of the box is completely vague, no one knows how long it will take. And if she decides to set off to another world somewhere in a bear's corner - you yourself understand what.

Worthy representatives of the second class are, for example, the Land Cruiser Prado. It moves confidently off-road, is comfortable on the highway and rides well in the city.

It has a frame structure and a very good off-road potential: small overhangs, there is a blockage, the distributor is the famous Super Select, diesel and gasoline engines.

The Pajero III-IV has a less durable multi-link independent suspension at the rear, which is easy to damage off-road and violate the wheel alignment angles. Geometric cross-country ability is not very good due to a decent rear overhang, but overall the car is wonderful, especially if you do not have to get very far into the wilderness.

This also includes the Nissan Pathfinder - a frame car with good ground clearance and a reduction gear. There is an anti-slip system in the arsenal, although not very adequate.

100 is a tall, frame-mounted, sturdy machine with a decent geometric cross-country ability. High-torque motor, good lowering and rear axle locking. It was supplied in different trim levels (diesel and gasoline, "automatic" and "mechanics") and has good off-road potential.

Toyota Land Cruiser 200, Land Rover Discovery III-IV series, and, Lada 4x4 and Chevrolet Niva are all typical representatives of the class of modern universal off-road vehicles.

Framed or not framed?

The frame issue is still a burning issue for many aspiring Jeepers. How many copies have already been broken in verbal battles, and the truth has not yet been found.

Modern load-bearing bodies have a sufficient margin of safety, and there are no such incidents with them as with earlier models - they practically do not "play" on rough terrain, amusing passengers with arbitrary opening or non-closing of doors, and pieces of the car when pulled out of the mud captivity with a cable do not come off (although this is how to try, of course). Technology has gone far ahead and, despite the lack of a frame, modern designs are very strong and sturdy.

But frame SUVs, whatever one may say, have a greater margin of safety than cars with monocoque bodies. Also, the indisputable advantage of the frame is that it distributes various loads well, for example, from cable jerks or from small hits on obstacles, which happens on the road. The most important thing is that a frame car lends itself to serious tuning easier. To prepare for tough terrain, you need a car on a frame.

Pickup trucks are quite good off-road and popular with outdoor enthusiasts. A light, roomy car with a frame, lowering and blocking, without a low plastic body kit, skirts and sills, which are so easily damaged by stones and branches. The body slightly increases the rear overhang, but despite this, the car is quite suitable even for heavy use.

When choosing a car, you must always clearly understand what tasks it will face. Almost every automaker now has four-wheel drive vehicles that are more or less suitable for off-road driving. If you want to frequently and regularly crawl along ruts and weak soggy soils, this is one thing, but you can simply drive up to the lake along a broken, but solid path on a SUV, bridges and a frame are completely useless. Although there is a rather large category of people who buy SUVs solely for beauty. And this also deserves respect.

SUVs

Where can you ride a "parquet jeep"? That's right, on the "parquet". That is, on normal roads. If you dare to ride it in azimuth to Ulan Bator, you may not reach your destination. Most of these pseudo-SUVs are made on the basis of conventional passenger platforms, where an off-road safety margin is a priori unnecessary excess. All strikes against stones and dentures in potholes will come back to haunt in the very near future, and even if the car does not break down, such bullying will greatly affect its resource.

These cars do not have a downshift. Despite the available all-wheel drive, on almost all modern cars of this class it is formed by an electronically controlled clutch, which replaced the classic differential. She does not like high loads, especially slipping. The SUV's suspension is also sharpened for city driving. The levers and steering rods are much thinner and weaker than that of a normal SUV, the ground clearance is less, and the "landing above the road" is lower - a beautiful fashionable plastic body kit usually hangs low over the road, and elegant alloy wheels in one short trip through the forest can work out all their resource.

There are a lot of such machines. Starting from passenger station wagons, which just have a little more ground clearance, and ending with cars that, although they look like SUVs, are large and beautiful, but at the same time they are completely unsuitable for off-road conditions. As an example - Mercedes-Benz ML and Volkswagen Touareg in trim levels without an off-road package, when they have neither a downshift nor locks - these are just big all-wheel drive beautiful cars.

There are, of course, happy exceptions here, which are quite able to painlessly endure a certain humane share of light off-road. For example, Land Rover Freelander or. The overhangs are small, the geometry is good, the transmission is high-torque. Of course, it is impossible to drive them into heavy off-road, but a piece of light off-road, where cars creep groaning, these two will pass with a valiant boom. also among such lucky ones - due to a decent clearance and short overhangs, a broken track or a snowball that fell yesterday is not an obstacle for him.

Well, in general, miracles do not happen. If you look a little further than the broken primer, the permeability begins to depend very much on the rubber in which the car is “shod”. They simply do not release toothy mud tires on SUVs, and driving it around the city is a very dubious pleasure - not only does it howl, it also quickly wears off. And on a smooth road through the mud you can't go far ...

4 wheel drive vehicles

And also crawlers, but that's a separate conversation. In any case, if your heart is striving for the harsh romance of Outdoor, you have come to the right place!

Buggy

The fastest off-road RC cars, perfect for racing on trails with a lot of jumps. They race well, but are designed for light - specially prepared - outdoor: the ground clearance is low, the stability is ... doubtful. The class is exceptionally sporty.

Traggi

They differ from the previous category with large wheels, which are also quite widely spaced. Hence the difference in dynamics: traggies drive worse, jump lower, but cope with unevenness of the track much easier. An interesting intermediate option, but not the most popular - if you are going to participate in races, check if anyone is chasing a traggie in your city.

Short course

"Sprats" are spears, which by their characteristics occupy a place roughly between buggy and traggie. Light outdoor, but in an absolutely authentic body - often even the stickers are accurately copied. Well, the popularity of this class is higher, they are eagerly chasing the Short Course.

Trophy

Copies (as a rule, copyists) of real severe SUVs. There is more dirt, the hill is steeper - everything is like in big sports. And the winch is installed, and other bells and whistles - in general, among all radio-controlled cars, the trophy SUVs in the degree of immersion in the racing process are leading by a large margin.

Monster trucks

Well, where without big feet: very popular and, perhaps, the most spectacular off-road cars with radio control! Huge wheels, harsh lugs, high ground clearance - ideal for riding in mud or in the winter season. And with monsters, it's simple: you either love them or you don't. There is no third.

Features of SUVs

Almost all off-road radio-controlled vehicles have the following features:

  1. Robust case... It is especially evident on trophy models, but in general, all SUVs are to one degree or another sharpened for possible shocks, falls and similar problems. Of course, everything depends on the manufacturer, but we don't even remember about no-name China, right? And self-respecting brands do not save on the body and chassis;
  2. Protection against moisture and dirt... A very serious point: the same trophies often dive headlong. Accordingly, you need to look at almost in the first place - and it is advisable to read reviews;
  3. Powerful engine... electric or internal combustion engine, depending on the scale and budget;
  4. Serious dimensions... At and above, SUVs account for far more than half of the market. Keep in mind, by the way, that the RC off-road model is smaller scale than it is more of a house toy than a real SUV. Yes, and a dozen usually drives easy outdoors.

Which off-road car to choose?

Take the class to which the soul lies. Do you like speed and cool jumps? You to the buggywods. Does your heart freeze from the roar of a powerful motor? Monster truck, and more. Do you prefer to overcome difficulties that others cannot solve? Welcome to the trophy.

There are decent and more than decent models in every class of radio-controlled off-road vehicles. The main thing is that you like the genre itself, and we will offer you a suitable typewriter!

Adventure travel, work, hobby - these are three reasons to choose and buy your own off-road vehicle. Buying a large and powerful car is a serious and costly step, so we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the opinions of specialists and experienced motorists before choosing.

An SUV or a jeep is a cross-country vehicle. Due to the technical characteristics and special equipment, the car is capable of off-road driving. Often, an SUV and a crossover are used synonymously. Let's deal with these concepts.

Jeep \u003d Crossover?

Crossover and SUV are different types of vehicles and are designed for different purposes.

Nikita Orlov, CEO of Podberi-Auto.Ru, auto expert:

“Today's car enthusiasts prefer taller cars. It can be both an urban crossover and a full-fledged SUV. A crossover is a conventional car with increased ground clearance and all-wheel drive. The car may be relevant in a small snowdrift or on a not very high-quality primer, but it will bring nothing but disappointment in a spring forest or in a field soggy after rain. A full-fledged SUV, designed for operation in harsh conditions, differs from its urban counterpart not only in its brutal appearance, but also in completely different technical characteristics. "

How to find a versatile option to drive through the forest and the city?

Which SUV to choose

To begin with, it is worth figuring out what requirements consumers have when choosing a machine for a forest.

Evgeny Loginov, head of the company "My Expert - car selection in Yekaterinburg":

    • Four-wheel drive (front-wheel drive crossover on mechanics will get stuck in the first puddle, so only 4x4!);
    • The presence of a frame (if this is not a family car, then the presence of a frame will help to increase the vehicle's cross-country ability by raising the body above the frame);
    • Roomy trunk;
    • Color, of course, is not so important, but neutral is better. On a silver or beige version, dirt and small scratches from branches are not visible;
    • Diesel engine: it does not have an electronic ignition system, which means that the probability of "killing" or immobilizing the engine after passing a water obstacle is less;
    • Manual Transmission. It is much easier to get out of a puddle, ford or snow rut by mechanics. Such a box will have to be repaired less often than an automatic one ”.

Hunter and experienced motorist Eldar Khamitovhighlighted 3 main characteristics for an SUV:

  • blocking differentials, at least 1;
  • the presence of a transfer case with a lower gear;
  • the SUV must be frame.

The motorist makes strict requirements for the SUV and believes that the urban version of the car for the forest does not exist. Eldar chose 3 best SUVs: "Jeep Wrangler, Land Rover Defender, Nissan Patrol". And among those claiming the optimal combination of "forest + city" he named: Subaru Forester (complete set up to 2007), Mitsubishi Pajero, Toyota Land Cruiser.

“The most important requirement for an SUV is reliability. Indeed, at the moment of overcoming obstacles in the form of a large puddle, a river, a neighbor's fence, one does not want to break down halfway. "

Yuri is a member of many expeditions, including rescue ones, when he had to pull his friends out of impassable places, he has a humorous attitude to the choice of an SUV. He believes that "the cooler your jeep is, the further you will have to follow the tractor." When asked what is the best car for the forest and for expeditions to choose, the motorist answered:

  • Toyota is known for being virtually unbreakable. You can drive 20,000 km and change the headlight bulb. Toyota is quite budgetary in maintenance, since it often does not need to be repaired.
  • Nissan Patrol. It breaks down more often, thereby teaching you to study the materiel of the car. There is a club of like-minded people who will help with the problem. But despite all the difficulties and a very "delicate body", Patrol is good, so he is loved and respected.
  • Land Rover Defender. Land Rover breaks down every 5000 miles. But at the same time, the Defender shows good results outside the asphalt. Defender is charismatic, it has an interesting past, it has absorbed into its aluminum body a passion for adventure, for travel.
  • UAZ. A car for brave, courageous and self-confident men who can fix a car on the road, are not afraid of difficulties. One of the big pluses: inexpensive repairs and affordable parts.

All experts agreed that an SUV cannot be a city car, it is unprofitable and not comfortable for the pilot.

Ideally, fans of extreme driving outside the asphalt should choose and buy at least 2 cars, one of which will play in the forest, and the other will drive around the city. But, as a rule, this option is not available to everyone. And the urban crossover turns into an off-road vehicle during the hunting season, and again moves to asphalt on working days.

A selection of compromise machines for the forest and for the city prepared Nikita Orlov:

“From the budget options, this is the good old Niva (VAZ 21214, Lada Urban) or Chevrolet Niva. These models have excellent cross-country ability, and in the case of the Chevrolet Niva, even relative comfort. If we talk about more expensive cars, these are Suzuki Jimny from the small class, Gret Wall Hover 3, Sang Yong Rexton and Kyron, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Toyota Land Cruiser 200 ”.

Choosing a used SUV

It is always risky to choose and buy a used car, and if it is an SUV, then the risk doubles, it is worthwhile to imagine the vicissitudes of the car.

Before you buy a pre-owned version, pay attention to:

  1. Appearance

Expert Nikita Orlov :

“If the body is not seriously damaged, then the previous owner used it in the city or for rare trips to nature. If there is serious damage to the paintwork from branches on the body, serious dents, especially on the lower part of the body, then the car was actively exploited. Which of the two above options to buy: the one that saw less dirt and less wear and tear.

  1. The cost and frequency of repairing a future car

Expert Nikita Orlov:

“With a budget car, you will not experience difficulties with repairs and spare parts: such a car will be repaired in any village, and spare parts are available and are quite pleasant at cost. Cons: increased wear and tear of parts and the car, low-quality components. For expensive cars, everything is different: such a car will have to be repaired in a specialized service, spare parts are made to order, but this car will also live much longer than its budget counterparts. "

  1. Technical condition

Expert Nikita Orlov:

“There are more expensive parts in an all-wheel drive car than in a conventional car. Therefore, it is worth paying attention not only to the exterior of the car, but also to check the condition of the engine, suspension and all-wheel drive system. " It is better to order an examination, so that later you do not suffer from expensive repairs.

Auto history

  1. Check the history of the future car using Autocode. This will keep you safe from scammers. And also you can find out the complete history of the car. Choosing and buying a proven option is better than looking for someone to blame.

To answer this question, you need to consider:

    1. Purchase budget: how much are you willing to spend: 500 thousand or 5 million.
  • Purpose: family trips to nature or participation in off-road competitions, long trips through the impenetrable taiga, or the search for untouched places for a successful catch.
  • Further investment in the car: even the highest quality device will need to be repaired after swimming or pulling out of the pit.
  • Possibility to buy a city car.
  • Availability of time and expediency of purchase.

Buying an SUV is like writing a business plan. If everything came together, and you firmly decided to buy, then we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the TOP-5 SUVs and their pros and cons from autoexpert Evgeniya Loginova:

Top 5. Good old NIVA 4x4

Pros: inexpensive spare parts that are in stores in huge quantities, inexpensive maintenance. This machine can be repaired on your knees in the field. Also worth noting is the excellent off-road performance! But along with these pluses, several unpleasant minuses loom. The car will have to be repaired often. Lack of diesel engines, which are preferable for off-road.

Top 4. Representative of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant - UAZ or "Baton", "loaf"

Its main competitive advantage over the same Niva is the presence of a frame, the ability to "raise" the car body and increase off-road capabilities. The pluses include inexpensive maintenance and the possibility of repair "on the knee". Cons, like Niva's, are frequent breakdowns.

Top 3. Representative of the Japanese car industry Suzuki Jimmy

Almost ideal for off-road driving. High ground clearance, virtually no overhangs. The downside of this car: small size. If you are going hunting or fishing at least three of us, then there will be almost no place for things - the trunk, like a female runabout. On the highway, the car does not behave in the best way - the short wheelbase affects.

Top 2. Representative of the Japanese car industry Toyota Land Cruiser 70

It is considered almost a reference SUV. He has: short and long base, gasoline and diesel engines, the reliability of an eminent brand. This machine is so popular that it is still being produced in some countries.

Top 1. Leader of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport

Unlike Toyota, Pajero was equipped with a unique Super Select all-wheel drive system, which allows you to switch transmission modes (rear or permanent all-wheel drive). To explain it in simple terms, you can drive Pajero in all-wheel drive everywhere, but Kruzak can only drive off-road. As for the rest, it is reliable, unpretentious to repair and surprisingly inexpensive to maintain. "

Did you find out the option for yourself? Perfectly! But whichever of these models you choose, do not forget to check the car before buying. Rest assured that your favorite SUV will not present difficult legal problems in the future.

A sports car in the usual sense of the word is a fast car for smooth roads and high-speed turns. But sometimes something breaks down in the owners of such cars, and such projects are born - wild, absurd and suddenly cool. We have collected some of the brightest.

Want a story about the deal of the century? A couple of years ago this BMW Z3 was on sale in Philadelphia. Initially, it was an ordinary roadster with a 1.9-liter engine and a machine gun, but at some point the owner freaked out, and a 2.5-liter inline six was registered under the hood, the machine gave way to mechanics, the suspension was updated, and most importantly, there appeared fat Goodyear AT tires with dimensions 235/75/15. Of course, they did not fit into the regular arches. What did the owner do? That's right: I cut the rear fenders, and removed the front fenders altogether. Yes, a little barbaric ... But just recently it was all selling for a ridiculous $ 2800! And you can hardly find a second such Z3.

Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

1 5

Perhaps this is the craziest Volkswagen Karmann Ghia on the planet. And it was made in the seventies! Yes, forty years ago, someone got the idea that an elegant German coupe is perfect for an extreme and ruthless trophy raid Baja 1000. So Karmann Ghia got a completely different suspension, huge wheels (and the rear, like a buggy, are noticeably larger front) and powerful underbody protection. As such, this coupe competed in the Baja 1000 rallies in 1979 and 1981, and somehow even managed to survive to this day.

The author of this project is named Markus, he lives in Texas and works as a mechanic. The fact that a Texas mechanic worked on this Nissan 350Z basically explains why the car ended up like this. The sports car was changed into evil off-road tires, a new exhaust was welded, the bottom was properly protected, an LED chandelier was mounted on the roof and a winch was attached. It turned out unexpectedly cool. But even cooler is the fact that his girlfriend helped Marcus to implement the venture. Marcus, we hope you did not hesitate with the wedding ?!

Yes, crossovers, station wagons and even Subaru sedans with all-wheel drive feel good off-road, which is eloquently confirmed. But the Subaru BRZ coupe (also known as the Scion FRS and Toyota GT86) was created a little differently: it is nimble, interesting to drive and rides well on asphalt. But is there anything you can explain to the fans? A suspension lift by two inches (almost five centimeters plus!), High tires, a self-made all-terrain body kit - and now a Japanese sports car is happy to iron out deep puddles and muddy ruts. Just look!

However, the Scion FRS pokatushki look like digging in the sandbox compared to what this Mazda Miata can do. She has long and irrevocably said goodbye to the ring tracks. They made it a suspension lift, cut the wings to stuff big wheels with toothy rubber, scalded it with a tubular power body kit, and, to top it off, screwed a compressor to the motor so that off-road was literally whistling. Sit down more comfortably - in the video below, the whole process of car modifications and spectacular shots with pokatushki. Happy viewing!
