New Nissan laptop specifications. Disadvantages and weaknesses of the used Nissan Note

When "there are 100 meters to the goal" - the desire to see the updated Nissan Note grows with every step. Getting into the line of sight - there is a feeling of a certain disappointment. Profile view - Note as Note. Not a single gram of difference can be seen from this distance. Considering that back in 2005 there was a detailed report on the now popular Japanese hatchback, the memories of every detail of the car are still fresh in the memory. Looking from the side, it becomes clear that the designers decided not to "lift" the compact minivan. Down with vague doubts, we are approaching the updated Nissan Note and look him straight in the eyes.

The brain instantly launches the "spot 10 differences" program. Externally, the hatchback has practically not changed over the considerable 5 years of history. Yes, they changed the hood - the restyling made it more sporty to some extent, now this detail looks much more modern. "Cosmetic plastic" also touched the front bumper, radiator grill and headlights. The "facial expression" now clearly shows that a car based on the Nissan Micra can look like a brutal Murano without losing the individuality of the Nissan Note lines. Thanks to the disappearance of the black plastic edging, the fog lights have become an addition to the bumper, and not something that stands out.

As for the rear view, (when compared with the 2004 model) the color scheme of the boomerangs of the taillights has become an order of magnitude darker.

Knowing not a special desire of the Japanese to change the appearance of successful car models, the hope still burns inside that there are much more new things in the cabin, or at least they are more evident. We sit down. But everything is in its place - in their old places... The same seats (very comfortable by the way) with well thought out lateral support. They are covered with the same water-repellent material, which helps parents with children more than once. Plastic and adjustments - no changes. Strange, but where is the update?
Stop! The central panel ("beard") definitely attracts the attention of no less than a whole 2-din radio with a 5-inch touch (!) Screen. The head unit is equipped with the modern Nissan Connect navigation function, which writes and "speaks" our native language. The radio tape recorder meets all the requirements of modern times, and this is reading MP3 and WMA discs, support for Bluetooth connections, and reading data via the USB port, which is beautifully hidden in the glove box. Not bad for a car of this class.
It is now more convenient to control the "climate", the appearance of the dashboard has been improved and the shape of its visor has been replaced. As always, the Japanese manufacturer, making minor modifications, makes the car more comfortable.

Well, we sat down, it's time to go for a drive - a test drive of the updated Nissan Note. The fact that the suspension has gone through a series of improvements is felt immediately. The car became less rigid, which did not deteriorate the handling indicator in any way. Engineers re-tuned the rear suspension of the hatchback. Their efforts were justified. Now in the corners, the roll has become even less, it would seem, where else. Cornering at speed on the Nissan Note is much easier than on most cars in its class. We should also highlight the seats. In them sits like a glove not only the driver, but also the passenger, which is important when changing the trajectory of movement at considerable speed. The steering is clear and simple. The electric amplifier clearly conveys the driver's "commands"
Due to the short wheelbase (only 2600 mm), the car tolerates long-wave road flaws worse, but it is incredibly easy for it to calmly walk the tram tracks.

Specifications. From the engines in the new modification, a 1.5 liter diesel unit appeared. Economical, powerful ... and not yet available to us. Despite the fact that the quality of our diesel fuel has finally improved, many manufacturers of “foreign cars” still flatly refuse to supply computerized diesel. From the assortment, we have already proven 1.4 and 1.6 liter motors available.

  • Comfort 1.4 MT - 88 HP acceleration to 100 km / h in 13.1 seconds, consumption in the combined cycle 7.9 liters per 100 km;
  • Comfort 1.6 MT - 110 HP acceleration to 100 km / h in 10.7 seconds, combined cycle consumption of 8.5 liters per 100 km;
  • Comfort 1.6 AT - 110 HP acceleration to 100 km / h in 11.7 seconds, combined cycle consumption of 6.3 liters per 100 km;

  • Luxury 1.6 MT - 110 HP acceleration to 100 km / h in 10.7 seconds, combined cycle consumption of 6.6 liters per 100 km;
  • Luxury 1.6 AT - 110 HP acceleration to 100 km / h in 11.7 seconds, combined cycle consumption of 6.8 liters per 100 km;

  • Tekna 1,6 AT - 110 HP acceleration to 100 km / h in 11.7 seconds, combined cycle consumption of 6.8 liters per 100 km;

Initially, the Nissan Note was created as a small family car that allows you to transport comfortably in a spacious cabin, not only passengers, but also to transport acquired property without scratching or damaging. Restyling in no way affected the quality data of the compact hatchback van. Transformation of the cabin from "passenger" to "truck" is done in a couple of minutes. The luggage compartment can be easily increased from 280 liters to 437. And with the seats folded down, you can get as much as 1332 liters of free space. If you fold the front passenger one, then objects with a length of 2.4 m are placed in the car - it is extremely convenient for moving.

There are no cardinal changes in the updated Nissan Note, but the whole set of improvements that have been carried out has incredibly strongly influenced the level of comfort (for the better). This is a clear indicator of how mature cars of class B have matured. New opportunities are attracting an increasing number of buyers who make a choice and choose their Note.
And in the case of Nissan Note, there is plenty to choose from - a wide selection of configurations ... and the price of Nissan Note in 2014 varies in a wide range - from 499 thousand rubles for the initial Comfort configuration (for this money there is: ABS, 2 airbags , power accessories for mirrors and glass, air conditioning and heated front seats) up to 677 thousand rubles - the cost of the maximum configuration Nissan Note Tekna.
We can say that the price of the car is more than justified - the quality is appropriate, the comfort is at the level of the C-class.

Nissan Note is a small five-seater Japanese minivan, the production of which began back in 2004 and continues to this day.

The laptop is a five-door subcompact van with a front-wheel drive layout, which belongs to the M-segment. It is based on the "Nissan B" platform found in the Nissan Tiida and Nissan Platina, as well as in some Renault models. The car was produced both in Japan itself (for its own market) and in Europe (in the UK).

Nissan Note history

ATTENTION! Found a completely simple way to reduce fuel consumption! Don't believe me? An auto mechanic with 15 years of experience also did not believe until he tried it. And now he saves 35,000 rubles a year on gasoline!

The development of Nissan Note was implemented in order to meet the huge demand for this segment of cars, because in those years Nissan had only one such model - the Almera Tino, which was not popular due to its similarity with Renault Sceniс.

The new brainchild from Nissan appeared in 2004 and was based on the Micra car of the same manufacturer. At its core, the Note includes a collection of elements from several Nissan models. For example, the radiator grille was borrowed from the Murano, and the taillights were identical to the Qashqai concept. At one time, Nissan Note was nicknamed the E11.

This vehicle was first unveiled in 2004 for the Japanese market. The start of its sales came true in January next year. In 2005, the Note was presented for the European market, first at the Frankfurt and then at the Geneva Motor Show. The car is produced at the Nissan plant in the UK (Sunderland).

Nissan Note for the European market consisted of 5 complete sets, which included four airbags, power windows on the front doors, power rear-view mirrors and a CD player. In the CIS countries, in particular in Russia, the Note was supplied in 3 versions: Comfort, Luxury and Tekna. The first was distinguished by the fact that it had only two airbags, while the other two configurations were equipped with four. As for the power units, there are only two options on the Russian market: 1.4 and 1.6 liters.

For reference! It is worth noting that because of its appearance, in our country, Nissan Note was jokingly nicknamed "Raccoon"!

As for the suspension, the Nissan Note has a front independent structure, such as "MacPherson", and a semi-independent rear, torsion bar.

Re-styling of the first generation Nissan Note

This car received the first update in 2005, in Japan. The body colors and interior have undergone changes, and a new navigation system has been added. In 2007, the model was re-styled, which brought a new grille, headlights, a radio with a Bluetooth system, and an external antenna was moved to the rear of the roof.

The next significant changes took place in 2010, which included new engine models, interior and exterior changes.

Below is a table showing the main characteristics of the internal combustion engine installed on the first generation Nissan Note:

The new version of the Nissan Note was designed based on the Nissan Invation concept car. In 2012, at the Geneva Motor Show, a new generation of Note was unveiled, the basis of which was an improved Nissan V platform. It should be noted that this car entered the European market only in 2013. In 2017, due to the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union, the production of the second generation of the Note for Europe was discontinued.

This car has never been delivered to the Russian market. At the moment, it is only produced for the American and Asian markets.

Powertrain selection Nissan Note

If we talk about which engine to choose the Nissan Note with, then the choice is not great.
The car is distinguished by subcompact power plants, which are simple in design and bring no problems to the owner if the oil and filter are changed in a timely manner.

Important! Oil change in all Nissan Note engines is carried out according to the regulations every 15 thousand kilometers. However, experienced owners of this car recommend doing this every 7.5 thousand km!

And yet, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.6 liter gasoline engines have their weak points:

  • Whistling from under the bonnet. Its source is the alternator belt. In this case, remove the old belt and replace it with a new one;
  • The engine stalls. It's all to blame - the relay of the ignition unit. This breakdown is characterized by the fact that the car may stall on the move and not start. Repair is carried out by replacing the relay;
  • Burnout of the gasket in the intake pipe. The main symptom is an uncharacteristically rough sound when accelerating or at medium revs. The malfunction is eliminated by replacing the ring (gasket);
  • Engine vibration. Most often, this is due to excessive wear on one of the engine mountings;
  • The motor is troit, it does not start well or stalls in winter. Judging by the reviews of the owners, the design flaw of the engine. However, the situation can be improved by changing the spark plugs or starting the power unit by slightly gasping.

Attention! There are times when a fuse is constantly on, which is responsible for any system or unit (for example, a control unit). This indicates that there is a short circuit, that is, somewhere the wires are bare or the contact is broken!

As for the K9K diesel engine, the main problem in it is the connecting rod bearings, which, with a high degree of probability, will turn over after 100 thousand km. For the most part, this is due to a design flaw, but poor-quality oil also aggravates the situation. In addition, the owners complain about the high pressure fuel pump and injectors, which quickly fail due to poor quality fuel.

The engine number is in the following location:

In addition, it is necessary to monitor the operating temperature of the engine and the cooling system as a whole. After all, if the coolant temperature sensor is faulty, this can lead to engine malfunctions. It also displays readings on the dashboard, where you can find out the temperature of the motor at the moment.

Important! Another problem of the Nissan Note is pallet corrosion!

In practice, the resource of Nissan Note gasoline engines is more than 250 thousand km, and diesel - over 300 thousand km.

Based on the foregoing, we can safely say that the best engine for the Nissan Note is the K9K, which is economical and has a large resource (shown in the bottom photo). Alternatively, the XH1 petrol powertrain can be noted.

Compact minivan Nissan Note belongs to class "B". It is a spacious five-door vehicle that combines innovative style and practicality, but at the same time has a sporty character. The European version is produced at Nissan's UK plant.

Nissan Note is aimed primarily at family people, especially those who need a car that meets the needs of busy everyday life, but who are not ready to give up the pleasure of driving. The Note has plenty of room thanks to its long wheelbase of 2,600 mm. Luggage space can be increased by the design of the rear seat, which can be fully folded or simply pushed forward. At the same time, the luggage compartment can also be easily transformed depending on the size and quantity of things transported, and its volume changes from a minimum of 280 to a maximum of 1332 liters with the rear seats folded.

In Russia, Nissan Note is offered in three trim levels: "Comfort", "Luxury" and "Tekna". Standard equipment: headlight washers, electric power steering, auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, power windows and side mirrors. In the Luxury configuration, the car is equipped with fog lights, body-colored door handles, rain and light sensors; a climate control system that uses a sensor in the passenger compartment to automatically maintain a set temperature. One of the most convenient options is an electronic chip key, it allows you to open the doors of the passenger compartment and luggage compartment, while the Intelligent key system automatically recognizes the owner's approach to the car. The equipment of the most expensive Tekna configuration includes 16 "wheels, leather steering wheel and gearshift knob, parking sensors, engine start button, parking sensors, folding side mirrors, a cooled glove box, multifunctional color display with a navigation system.

Nissan Note in Russia offers two petrol engines of 1.4 (88 hp) and 1.6 (110 hp) liters. Cars with a larger engine can be equipped with both a manual and an automatic transmission, and the 1.4 engine offers only a manual transmission. Both engines are four-cylinder, in-line, with 4 valves per cylinder, quite economical. The 1.6 engine in the combined cycle has a fuel consumption of 6.6 to 7 liters per “hundred” (depending on the availability of “mechanics” or “automatic machine”), while the 1.5-liter engine has 6.3 liters. Acceleration to 100 km / h, maybe not a fundamental parameter for this car, but quite worthy - the fastest version on the "mechanics" is able to reach this speed in 10.7 seconds.

The front suspension of the Nissan Note is independent, of the MacPherson type, the rear is semi-independent, torsion bar. Actually, the suspension, as well as the noise insulation, are not the “strongest” aspects of Note, given the budget class of the car. What the car does not have to do is maneuverability in urban conditions, thanks to which the convenience of parking is ensured. The car has a very short rear overhang, but the front overhang is decent, so the bumper should be protected from possible contact with the curb. In general, the ground clearance, although it looks decent in numbers (165mm), is not so much with a long base.

Nissan Note safety is at a very high level, especially for post-styling modifications. The car is equipped with ABS systems, ESP stability, emergency braking system (Nissan Brake Assist), two or four airbags, depending on the configuration. It is possible to install a child seat using special ISOFIX mounts. It is worth adding here the function of automatic headlights, active head restraints and a modern shock-absorbing body structure. The car received good results in the EuroNCAP crash tests.

The Nissan Note, like many of its economy-class competitors, is not without some drawbacks. At the same time, the uniqueness lies in the fact that Note is a great option for an urban environment: convenient, comfortable, compact and at the same time roomy. This car is fully capable of satisfying the needs of a family with a limited budget, especially if we talk about second-hand cars, as a rule, having (given the small age of the generation), a good technical condition.

And the history of the car began in 2004, when the concept of the Nissan Tone subcompact van was shown at the Paris Motor Show. As it turned out, it was not just a concept, but a prototype practically ready for mass production, built on the B0 platform. The company had to start production first in its homeland, in Japan, and then in the English Sunderland. Well, and rearrange a couple of letters in the title ...

Nissan Tone Concept "2004

In 2005, sales of the model began in the Land of the Rising Sun, then the final version was shown on the catwalks of Geneva and Frankfurt, in January 2006 the assembly line was launched in the UK, and in March of the same year Note sales began in Europe. In April of the same year, cars appeared in Russia.

In our market, the compact MPV was offered with two in-line petrol “fours” CR14DE (1.4 l, 88 hp) and HR16DE (1.6 l, 110 hp), in tandem with which either a five-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic (only paired with a 1.6-liter engine). The European range was complemented by a 1.5-liter diesel engine.

Nissan Note (E11) "2005–09

The small car with a spacious interior immediately gained some popularity: already in 2006, 71,659 cars were sold in Europe. As for Russia, although Not did not make it to the coveted top 25, it still became the object of very favorable attention. First of all - among young families with average incomes. In any case, most of the owners of this car I knew belonged to this category. In the best years, up to 10,000 cars found new owners. Well, since not only the Japanese know how to rearrange the letters, the car received the nickname "Raccoon", and many owners really tore off the last letter of the name and re-glue it to the beginning. It turned out, you know, ENOT.

In 2007-2008, the car underwent a slight facelift: the black elements of the bumpers began to be painted in body color, the antenna was moved from the front to the rear of the roof, the climate control panel was changed, and the Tekna (with automatic) equipment finally received the ESP system.

Nissan Note (E11) "2005–09

More significant changes took place in 2010, when the shape of the headlights and bumpers, the dashboard, the upholstery materials and the suspension tuning changed, which became more energy intensive. The top configurations received the Nissan Connect media system with navigation, and the range of power units was supplemented by a new 1.5-liter 109-horsepower engine, which could now work in tandem with a variator.

Meanwhile, the designers of Nissan did not eat sashimi in vain: in the fall of 2012, the second generation of Note was presented, the sales of which in Europe began in the summer of 2013. This model was expected in Russia, but all plans were confused by the crisis ... Note II (E12) did not appear on the market, it is familiar only to the inhabitants of the Far East in right-hand drive performance, and in July 2014 the brand's representative office announced the termination of Note sales in Russia.

Nissan Note (E12) "2013–17

Nevertheless, the compact van is still in demand in the secondary market, and meeting with it on the road is by no means a rarity. But the attitude to the model was and remains very contradictory. So why do they love and hate Nissan Note?

Hatred # 5: "Even though I'm small ..."

Say what you like, but our driving culture is still far from European (although it should be admitted that some progress in this direction is still observed). However, the fact that many drivers do not respect small cars on the road, especially if they themselves drive cars of a higher class, remains a medical fact. So many Note owners complain that during a quiet ride they are constantly trying to cut, press, keep the road, blink headlights, honk signals. And in general, they show road rudeness towards them in all the diversity of this phenomenon.

Nissan Note (E11) "2005–09

Dear comrades, be cultured while driving, respect cars of a class lower than yours!

Love # 5: "For Olya and Kolya"

We used to think that "small car" and "female car" are almost synonymous. In terms of dimensions, Note is really very small, but for some reason a significant part of its owners, as it turned out, belongs not to the beautiful, but to the strong half of humanity. In many "memories of the Raccoon" very similar stories are heard about how the car temporarily taken away from the wife became personal for several years. And the point, most likely, is that despite some stylistic similarity to the baby Micra, the Note does not give the impression of a “girly car”.

Nissan Note (E11) "2009–13

The Note's design seems controversial to many, but the fact that the car has a bright personality is recognized even by those who do not like the Note's appearance too much. This means that the lead designer of the project, Tiiji Toyota (yes, that was the name of one of the leading specialists of Nissan!), Quite successfully solved his task of creating a single car for a young and not too wealthy family. And he really managed to create a car of the "unisex" category, the full range of characteristics of which is able to satisfy any representative of the target audience, regardless of gender.

Hate # 4: “What's the noise in the back? You can't understand anything! "

In 2006, when the Note was just entering the market, journalists were unanimously praising its soundproofing and quietness in the cabin. Alas, the opinion of the real owners was diametrically opposite. Someone chops from the shoulder - they say, there is simply no sound insulation, and when the "Shumka" was handed out, "Raccoon" was late for distribution. Someone speaks more carefully: they say, the car is noisy. Someone clarifies that in the city the noise level in the cabin is quite normal, and you can talk calmly, but on the highway at a speed of about 80 km / h, the sound of the engine begins to break through into the cabin. Discomfort begins at a speed of 110-120 km / h: and the engine is audible (especially the 1.4-liter, the speed of which at this mark has to be kept at 3,300 - 3,400 rpm), and road noise erupts from the arches, and the wind begins to solo due to the design of the A-pillars and exterior mirrors.

But there is no complete unanimity on this issue either: many owners rate the Note's sound insulation very positively - at least, higher than that of the Ford Focus and Mitsubishi Lancer.

Nissan Note (E11) "2009–13

The owners are much more annoyed by the "crickets" that start up in the salon, and for many - already in the first year of life. However, there are also lucky ones who, with perplexity, enter into polemics with victims of the "insect invasion". Someone shares "little tricks": they say, if the rear seat belt buckle knocks on the plastic pad on the rack on the go, then you need to stick a piece of double-sided tape under it, and if you are annoyed by the creak that appears in the rear of the car, you just need to fold it several times and unfold the rear row of seats. "Crickets" will get scared and run away.

Love # 4: "I eat very little, fewer cats and dogs ..."

Almost all Note owners amicably express their complete satisfaction with the vehicle's economy. For both engines with mechanics, fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 5-6 liters on the highway and 7-8 liters in the city, and this level, as a rule, is not exceeded even in winter. Versions with a gun eat a little more, up to 10 liters in traffic jams and 6-7 liters on the highway, but, one way or another, the average consumption on on-board computers, as a rule, freezes at 8.6-8.7 liters per 100 kilometers.

Nissan Note (E11) "2005–09

Naturally, the consumption depends on whether the air conditioner is on or not, as well as on the driving style. This is especially evident in those cases when the "Raccoon" is driven in turn by both adult family members. For example, someone admits that in the urban cycle he gets 13.8 per hundred, and his wife has 7.2, and in some families a completely opposite picture is observed: the husband spends 8-9 l / 100 km, and the wife - 10-12.

And many more note that although Note engines are quite tolerant of 92nd gasoline, it is still better to fill the tanks with the recommended 95th, if only because this saves one liter for every hundred kilometers.

Hate # 3: "The wind tears the sails, the storm begins ..."

In principle, the majority of owners assess the Note's behavior in the city and on international routes quite positively. But this is exactly what, in principle ... Owners of versions with a mechanical five-speed gearbox complain about too short gears, forcing them to constantly "play with a mixer" in a dense city stream. Well, on the track they lack the sixth gear. And this is understandable: the fifth gear and the speed of 120 km / h correspond to 3,400 - 3,500 rpm, and the engine overcomes the boundary of 3,000 by a hundred. In general, many "raccoon breeders" make their slogan "long live traffic rules!" and prefer to maintain a cruising speed of 110 km / h on the track. And "Raccoon" also plays along with them, overestimating the readings of the speedometer in comparison with the real speed of kilometers by 10.

Nissan Note (E11) "2005–09

But the owners of 110-horsepower versions with an automatic transmission are quite pleased with the consistency of the engine and transmission. It would seem that it is an ancient four-stage unit, but it must be the same: many reviews praise the smoothness of switching, the absence of jerks and delays, as well as the ability to adapt to the driving style. Indeed, you will constantly press the pedal to the floor - the automatic machine will turn the engine until the cut-off, and another driver will sit in the same car, for example, his wife, who is used to using the gas very carefully - and she will drive like on a variator, and the box will keep the engine speed at the level of 2,500 rpm.

Nissan Note (E11) "2009–13

But the great windage and the fact that at speed the car literally blows off the road both with a side wind and trucks rushing towards it, are noted by those who preferred a manual transmission, and those who drive an automatic.

Love # 3: "What a smart baby you have ..."

One of the reviews on the Internet says: "Note was created by the Japanese, who wanted to combine a family car with sportiness, and they did it, because the dynamics are good and there are many useful things inside." We will return to the conversation about "usefulness", but the accelerating characteristics of the kid, even with a 1.4-liter engine, pleasantly surprised many: "Raccoon" is a rather nimble and nimble city car, and 88 "foals" are enough for it to prevent offend yourself. The engine spins up easily and naturally, leaving many doubters behind. The owners of the version with a 1.6-liter engine and automatic transmission are also pleased: for an engine with such a volume, coupled with the old four-stage hydromechanics, the car accelerates very quickly.

The situation changes somewhat when you leave the city. Things aren't nearly as fun here. Nevertheless, if the driver is ready to actively wield the gearbox lever (in the case of mechanics) and correctly use the overdrive button (in the case of a machine gun), then he will not have any particular difficulties on the highways. Of course, overtaking must be calculated quite carefully, and in some situations the air conditioner must be turned off for a while ... But in the overwhelming majority of reviews, dynamism is named among the advantages of Nissan Note.

Acceleration dynamics should also correspond to braking, and in this regard, everything is also very good: even the basic versions of the car were equipped with the Nissan Brake Assist system. You just need to get used to the very sensitive brake pedal, so as not to drive with a crumpled tailgate and a broken bumper.

Hatred # 2: "Paws are cold, tail is getting cold ..."

As you know, winter in our area always comes unexpectedly (for city road services), but its onset is absolutely inevitable. In principle, the "Raccoon" turned out to be quite cold-resistant animal, and I practically did not encounter complaints about a poor launch in cold weather. But here are some other features of winter operation have become the subject of constant criticism.

Nissan Note (E11) "2005–09

Yes, on a cold winter morning, the Note owner will most likely have no problems with starting the engine, but the interior will only warm up on the way to work, after 15-20 minutes. For a city car, this is still a bit too much, and in general, climate control does not cope very well with its tasks in winter cold weather, primarily because of the significant internal volume of the cabin. As a result, the glass constantly fogs up, including the windshield. The driver tries to direct the air flow at him, and as a result, the air conditioner turns on! It, of course, can be forcibly turned off, but in this case the glass will still fog up.

It happens that the windshield washer nozzles freeze: this is a payback for a very narrow nozzle of the nozzles and good fan spray. At the onset of cold weather, it is not enough just to fill the tank with an anti-freeze solution. It is necessary to spray longer with a rear window washer, otherwise the water left over from the summer will freeze in the tube and will only be warmed up in a warm parking lot.

I also do not like the work of the headlight washer: many consider this device essentially useless, and inconvenient to use. The headlight washers are triggered forcibly at the first, and then at every fifth use of the windshield washers (of course, with the dipped or main beam headlights on). You cannot use them separately, so sometimes you have to turn off the light in order to spray only on the glass. And they increase the consumption of washer fluid very well. Yes, the Note has a substantial volume washer reservoir, but there is no liquid level sensor in it, so, according to the law of meanness, the “anti-freeze” in the reservoir ends, as a rule, at the most inopportune moment.

There are also complaints about the work of heated seats: firstly, the control keys are very inconvenient, and secondly, the heating elements themselves warm up too slowly, but after warming up, they begin to turn the driver into bacon in a frying pan.

Love # 2: "You look - it seems small, but you look closer - big ..."

It is clear that a family car (especially the only one in the family) must have a decent trunk. Oddly enough, there is no unity in assessing the Raccoon's ability to transport cargo. Someone complains that the trunk is too small, while others, on the contrary, just admire it. At first I could not understand what was the matter, but after reading dozens of reviews, the picture began to clear up.

Let me remind you that the rear Note sofa can be moved forward or backward by 160 mm. If the sofa is in the rear position, then the volume of the luggage compartment is indeed a modest 280 liters. But push it forward - and you already have 437 liters at your disposal, which is a very decent figure! It is clear that at the same time, the legroom of the rear passengers is also reduced. But the head of the family himself, his wife, mother-in-law and the child fit well, and there is enough space in the trunk for a baby carriage. Well, one of the owners, an inveterate tourist, assessed it like this: "I can say one thing about the trunk: despite the visually scanty volume, it turned out to be enough to accommodate all the belongings for a multi-day hike."

The trunk itself has a unique "three-story" architecture: there is a kind of "subfloor" and a shelf that can be placed in several positions. True, such a shelf was included only in top-end configurations, but the raccoon breeders are young and practical people, and they quickly realized that the shelf is not a hypersonic rocket, and it is quite possible to make it yourself. Drawings of this product can be easily found on any thematic forum.

But there is not only a rear trunk. There is a glove box that can fit a medium sized dog. But she won't sit there for a long time, because this box is refrigerated. The dog will freeze! Well, in the glove cover there is a special niche for maps and atlases. It is clear that in our time for GPS navigators, the issue of placing paper atlases has lost its relevance, and there will most likely be a couple of magazines lying around. But it's still nice.

There is also an extremely practical container for small items under the right front passenger seat cushion. To be honest, I do not understand at all why such containers are not made by absolutely all manufacturers on all models.

Even those who noted the volume of the luggage compartment among the shortcomings of the car admit that if you fold the rear sofa, you just get a huge cargo volume with a flat floor, where huge boxes from the IKEA store, and materials for building a summer house, and a refrigerator, and a television, and some furniture, and a couple of road bicycles, along with seedling crates and a bunch of country junk. In addition, there is enough space in the cabin for a family of three to stay in it for the night.

Hatred # 1: "I'll go a little, even shake my bones ..."

There is no complete unanimity in the assessment of the Nissan Note suspension, but in the overwhelming majority of reviews, its description falls within the range from "very stiff" to "harsh". The suspension of the front wheels is punctured on the broken asphalt, the rear beam rumbles on the speed bumps, and so that you think that the rear of the car will fly to pieces.

The reasons for this picture are quite understandable: the engineers counted on operation in good road conditions, and in order to ensure the stability of the car during maneuvers at speed, they made the suspension very rigid. Here is the back all the time and "breaks through" with terrible knocks. Moreover, it is not only the rear beam that rumbles: when hitting a medium-sized hole or rails, the instrument panel resonates when the suspension breaks down, and a dull, but quite perceptible acoustic shock is heard.

But if the suspension were just stiff, that would be only half the trouble. The trouble is that the suspension, especially the front one, is also frankly weak. Our roads, as you know, are bad, so you can't go around all the holes ... As a result of the anti-roll bar, many are converted into the category of consumables. From 10 to 30 thousand kilometers, the front silent blocks are also nursed, and their replacement is far from a cheap event, as well as the parts themselves. But our cunning people found out that the silent blocks from Renault Megane 2 are perfect, which for some reason cost at least half the price.

Love # 1: "She got into a motor limousine ..."

The limousine the poet wrote about was probably much larger than the Nissan Note. But the fact that the spaciousness in the rear seats evokes associations with a limousine (or just a much higher class car) is noted by many owners of "raccoons".

The Note was initially positioned as a car for a young family, and a young family is children. Younger children are supposed to ride in child seats. So, firstly, these child seats are very convenient to remove and install, and secondly, the child sitting in such a chair does not reach with his feet to the backs of the front seats, which means he cannot get them dirty.

But legroom isn't the only plus. For example, a high ceiling allows you to safely change clothes in the car, for example, after winter fishing or skiing.

And it is also very convenient to get into the car - boarding is not carried out according to the "bang into the hole" system. In "Raccoon" you enter exactly, like in that "motor limousine", and just sit down, like on a chair. This is especially appreciated by elderly passengers - after all, young spouses often have to carry their elderly parents, or even grandparents.
