All about buying and selling cars

Does Hyundai Creta have a competitor in Russia? Hyundai Creta (Hyundai Creta) - full review and test drive Hyundai Greta comparison with other cars.

Pleasantly surprising the Russian fans of the brand. A car that will appear on our market no earlier than August can be purchased at a very reasonable cost - from 749,900 rubles. The Koreans do not hide that their main rival for the attention of motorists will be another novelty - Renault Kaptur. It is obvious that the prices for the compact SUV were also formed under the influence of the competition with the stylish "Frenchman". However, experts are sure: "Cretu" will be compared not only with "Capture", but with at least three more models. The analysis of price lists and configurations specially for RG was prepared by Dmitry Rybalchenko and Kira Kaddaha (automotive aggregator Autospot.ru).

Decrease ... and Decrease

Renault has managed to successfully enter the same river twice. Once the French introduced the most affordable SUV (albeit compact), and now - an affordable urban crossover. But "Kaptyur" will not rest on its laurels for long. As soon as the first happy buyers received their cars, a serious competitor loomed on the horizon - Hyundai is preparing to launch the new Cretu. The battle for the wallets of car enthusiasts will unfold epic. Despite the fact that in this market segment several Chinese are already teeming, the domestic Xray and the Ford Ecosport.

In general, the trend is understandable. Firstly, people want "jeeps" (small, unable to drive off-road, no four-wheel drive - it doesn't matter), and secondly, people want affordable "jeeps". This means that soon we will see new compact crossovers from a number of players. But marketing accessibility is not a guarantee of a really low price. Let's see how much small SUVs actually cost and what joys are hidden inside the pretty bodies of Renault Kaptur, Hyundai Creta, Lada Xray, Ford Ecosport and Lifan X60.

Size matters

First of all, let's compare the numerical parameters, because we will get the dimensions and ground clearance regardless of the configuration.

So, Kaptur confidently crushes rivals with anthropometry. It is also in the lead in terms of ground clearance (by the way, Renault has always been excellent at preparing cars for Russian conditions). The most "parquet" was the "Chinese", and the most compact - the domestic Xray.

Is everyone equal at the start?

To be extremely objective, let's sort out all the pros and cons of basic configurations on the shelves, because it's no secret to anyone that only the most budget version of a car can tell more about it than any other!

With the appearance of the Hyundai Creta on the Russian market, it became clear that the Koreans are determined to change the direction of their lineup, taking compact crossovers as a basis. At the same time, you cannot call a small car, because it is only five centimeters shorter than the Hyundai Tucson.

What can I say, the basic configuration of the Hyundai Creta (Start) with a 1.6 engine of 123 horsepower in terms of price starts from 749,900 rubles. For this money, you get not only a high-quality Korean crossover, but also a proprietary audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectors, steering column adjustment, front seats, power windows, power steering and other attributes of a comfortable and safe ride.

The price for the brand new Renault Kaptur (1.64, 114 hp) is offered at 859,000 rubles - a tangible difference with the Korean novelty, don't you think? At the same time, the French crossover in the "Life" configuration (not to say that this is the basic version - the manufacturer, in principle, renounced the budget versions of "Capture") is already equipped with an air conditioner, and electric windows, and a key card, and a system of directional stability, and two airbags ... By the way, "Creta" also has two of them, but in the maximum configuration - six (due to the airbags), not four.

Domestic Lada Xray (1.6 engine with 106 "horses") compares favorably with the offered novelties in terms of price: AvtoVAZ asks only 589,000 rubles for the Optima package. For this amount, the car enthusiast receives not only a miracle of Russian engineering, but also a whole set of pleasant options such as a Bluetooth channel, front power windows, steering and seat adjustment, two airbags, a road stabilization system, remote control of the lock and access to the ERA-satellite system GLONASS ". For a domestic car - not bad at all!

But the Ford Ecosport 2 with a 1.6 engine of 122 horsepower fits well into the pricing segment of the Crete and Capture: the basic Trend configuration is estimated at 909,000 rubles, taking into account the proposed discount. And in the saturation of options, it will not yield one iota to the new crossovers: already in the "base" there is a powerful air conditioner, side mirrors with the possibility of electrically adjustable, LED optics, electric windows and many different smaller "amenities" for the driver!

The Chinese Lifan X60 (engine 1.8, 128 "horses"), which is very popular in Russia, costs 629,900 rubles in the "base", which, I must say, sets it apart from other crossovers. In the "Basic" version (why bother with the name of the basic configuration?), The car is equipped with a power steering, two airbags, the ability to adjust the steering wheel and seats, remote control of the central lock, a multimedia system, etc.

Spreading money ... And for what?

Ford Ecosport. A photo: https://media.ford.com.

So, front-wheel drive cars with mechanics in basic trim levels generally cost around one million and are equipped with the same "chips". Maybe there will be significant differences in the luxury versions of these crossovers?

Hyundai Creta with four-wheel drive, automatic transmission and 2.0 engine with 149 hp. costs from 1 139 900 rubles. If the price is ascending, then the Korean crossover, literally "breathing down the back of its head", is followed by Renault Kaptur (1,149,990) with a 2.0 engine with 143 hp and Ford Ecosport for 1,379,000 rubles with a 2.0 unit for 140 horses and full drive (albeit with manual transmission). And here Lada Xray (with a price for the most advanced configuration of 742,000 and a 1.8 engine for 122 "horses") and Lifan X60 worth 819,900 rubles, equipped with a 1.8 unit with 128 hp, are knocked out of the general system.

The ground clearance (a very important factor in choosing a crossover) is acceptable for all models for conquering the Russian off-road, but especially in this regard, the "Kaptyur" stands out with its record figure of 205 mm!

It is a pity, of course, that even in the luxury version "X-Ray" does not have all-wheel drive. This fact and the presence of a relatively weak engine do not allow domestic cars to show themselves at their best as an SUV. But on the other hand, it has the biggest advantage in terms of fuel consumption in the combined cycle - only 6.8 liters per hundred! By the way, "Creta" has this figure of 7.5, and Lifan has 8.2!

In general, the cars are worth each other in terms of the saturation of the maximum configurations. And the creative Chinese even provided an opportunity to play games in the multimedia system of the new X60, slightly yielding in terms of high-quality interior design to the same "Crete", for example.

Final invoice

Well, in the "base" our rivals are not poor, but nothing more. And if you imagine that these are cars with a liter and a half under the hood, front-wheel drive and "mechanics", then why not take a closer look at the "fat" hatchbacks and sedans of the same class? Lifan turned out to be the "empty" in this row, while Xray looks very convincing, pushing newfangled competitors with a multifunctional steering wheel, GLONASS, alarms, etc. The Ecosport looks the most balanced, the Kaptur is "forgotten" for utilitarianism, and the Creta - for active safety (and fastenings for child seats in a modern family car must be in any case).

The "richest" again came out "Kaptyur". However, the description of the "secret super-Crete" of the top-end configuration, which is not even in the descriptions yet, is circulating on the net. It is also worth noting that Lada does not look like a "poor relative", especially if you take into account the cost of 742 thousand (this is almost 40% cheaper than "Creta"). Unfortunately, an ultimatum front-wheel drive, in our opinion, is generally a reason for disqualification from the competition that "X-Ray", that "Lifana".

For a visual comparison - a plate with three options: basic configuration with manual transmission, minimum engine and front-wheel drive; medium with "automatic" and front-wheel drive; maximum version with four-wheel drive, flagship engine and automatic transmission. Xray, Lifan and Ecosport stand out. The first two do not have an all-wheel drive version at all, the third has an automatic transmission in conjunction with all-wheel drive.

And one more thing

Let's not forget about bonuses. So, a domestic crossover can become cheaper by 40-50 thousand under Trade-in / recycling programs. Lifan pleases with about the same discounts. Renault offers to throw up to 70 thousand on the same terms (and some dealers also beckon with a direct discount). Interesting? But here we look at the proposal from Ford and whisper to the company for its controversial SUV design. Currently, discounts on Ecosport reach 170 thousand rubles, not counting bonuses for programs.

Let's remind, Creta will be on sale only in August. And now we can only assume that the basic Hyundai programs will be extended to this model.

The Hyundai Creta is a new variant of the crossover launched in 2016. The car is assembled at a Russian plant, fully adapted for operation in the climatic and road conditions of the country. But, many drivers, doubting their choice, decide to carry out a comparative characteristic of the car with other models, for example, compare the Kia Sportage. The latter is a stylish SUV, which is not produced in the first generation; during its stay in the car market, it has gained hundreds of thousands of fans. That is why the manufacturer offers a new version of the vehicle, which is designed to give its owner even more protection and comfort.

To understand which model to choose, you should carefully read the key characteristics of each of the vehicles. This will allow you to make an objective decision that meets exactly your wishes and preferences.

Exterior and dimensions of cars

When thinking what to buy - Kia Sportage or Hyundai Greta, pay attention to the design. You could even say that the cars are somewhat similar. Both models have an aggressive look, they look stylish and presentable. There are certainly some differences. For example, the Hyundai Creta body is more angular, and the manufacturer uses soft, smooth lines, rounded corners in the KIA design. Due to this, the car looks somewhat different than the competitor. This principle applies to headlights, and a radiator grille, and other elements that we can see by studying the features of the exterior. So, after comparing Hyundai Greta and Kia Sportage for this parameter, we note that the first model looks stricter. But, in any case, in the choice you are guided only by personal preferences.

If we talk about dimensions, then they determine the spaciousness of the cabin, the ease of use of a car in a busy urban cycle. Hyundai is characterized by the following body dimensions:

  • height - 1630 mm;
  • width - 1780 mm;
  • length - 4270 mm.

KIA, in comparison with the previous model, a larger car, differs in the following parameters:

  • height - 1645 mm;
  • width - 1855 mm;
  • length - 4480 mm.

In terms of dimensions, the last model wins, but instead is inferior in ground clearance, because it is less than the same indicators of the competitor by 8 mm, and is 182 mm. Thus, the cross-country ability of the Hyundai Creta will be slightly better.

Interior and other features of the salon

Thinking what to buy - Hyundai Creta or Kia Sportage, pay attention to the characteristics of the cabin. They determine the comfort of being in the car, the convenience of the driver and passengers. Starting with the first model, we note that it is equipped with the following options:

  • fabric interior trim made of high-strength material;
  • a multifunctional steering wheel that allows you to control the functions of the audio system without being distracted from the road;
  • informative instrument panel with high-quality illumination, not blinding eyes, providing a clear display of all indicators;
  • 7-inch screen, located in the center of the front panel, showing the parameters of the audio system and other data;

  • central armrest with niche for personal items;
  • ergonomic car seats with high lateral support and the ability to adjust in all parameters;
  • modern audio system with 4 speakers.

To objectively compare the features of Hyundai Greta and Kia Sportage, consider the options for the interior space of the latest model:

  • dashboard with built-in liquid crystal display;
  • comfortable seats with lateral support and deep head restraints;
  • multifunction steering wheel;

  • navigation system with a screen, built-in radio and many additional functions;
  • wireless charger for your phone;
  • audio system with 7 speakers.

Now you can compare the description of Hyundai Greta and Kia Sportage, make a decision regarding the most suitable option.

Technical characteristics, configuration and security systems

This is the most important point that requires special attention. Hyundai Creta is offered to customers with two petrol engine options - 1.6 and 2 liters, 123 and 149 hp respectively. The car is equipped with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. Those who prefer the classics should pay attention to the manual transmission. It guarantees smooth and precise gear shifting, allows you to achieve the maximum speed of the car. Automation is equipped with modern technologies, therefore, already at the initial stages of movement, the car shows good agility. Fuel consumption ranges from 7-8 liters, depending on the type of engine and driving mode.

Now we will study the features that characterize transport, and it will be possible to give an answer: is KIA similar to Hyundai Creta? The car is equipped with 1.6 and 2 liter diesel and gasoline engines. Gasoline units have a capacity of 150-177 HP, diesel - 185 HP. The transmission has the same options as the previous model. But, on a 1.6 liter gasoline engine, a 7-speed gearbox is offered. Fuel consumption is 6.3 liters on diesel and 7.5-8.3 liters on gasoline.

So you see that the competitor Hyundai Creta has more powerful engines, while the fuel consumption figures are practically the same.

Now it remains to consider prices and configurations. Hyundai Creta is offered to the buyer in the following variants:

  • Start is the simplest modification, where only power steering and a standard audio system are provided. The cost of such a car will be approximately 750 thousand Russian rubles;
  • Active - there is air conditioning, power windows, heated mirrors and front seats, powered mirrors. An automatic transmission is available in this modification. The price of this option is 870-930 thousand rubles;
  • Comfort is the most complete configuration, for which many options are available, some of them are offered as separate packages. Here you can order leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels, functional climate control and many other features.

An analogue of Hyundai Greta in the form of Kia Sportage is offered by car dealerships in the following trim levels:

  • Classic;
  • Comfort;
  • Luxe;
  • Prestige;
  • Premium

The price of the issue varies between 1 600 000-1900 000 rubles. Cars are offered with 16, 17 and 19-inch alloy wheels. So you see that the Kia, as an analogue of the Hyundai Creta, is certainly more expensive. Now you have the opportunity to objectively assess the situation and decide which option suits you best.

When it comes to security, it's hard to tell who is losing. If we compare the characteristics of Hyundai Greta and Kia Sportage, in both cars, even in the simplest configuration, an anti-lock braking system, a stabilization system, and an assistant when moving from standstill to rise are provided. Therefore, when making a decision, you should consider in more detail the equipment you are interested in in comparison, comparing all the important points.

Kia Soul as another competitor

If you are considering another pair of "rivals", think that it is better to buy - Kia Soul or Hyundai Greta, then the decision here will be no more difficult than in the previous case. The first model is distinguished by an extraordinary design, not similar to the options already studied. It will easily emphasize the individuality of its owner and will give the desired control comfort.

To decide what to buy - Kia Soul or Hyundai Creta, you should familiarize yourself with the technical characteristics of the first. The car is offered with 1.6 liter petrol engines. Depending on the type of engine, the power ranges from 124-132 hp. For movement in the urban cycle and trips outside the city, these indicators are quite enough, in addition, the vehicle can boast of a fairly economical fuel consumption. If we talk about the gearbox, then the model is equipped with 6-speed manual and automatic options.

Continuing the comparison of Kia Soul and Hyundai Creta, attention should be paid to the safety of the first model, because this moment plays an important role when choosing a car. From the factory, the vehicle is equipped with the following functions and systems:

  • disc brakes;
  • anti-lock braking system;
  • exchange rate stability system;
  • a system that helps in case of emergency braking;
  • help when starting downhill;
  • active control system.

Important! ... Available in a combination of two colors. The car, depending on the configuration, is equipped with 16, 17 or 18-inch alloy wheels.

As for the trim levels, there is plenty to choose from. The car is offered to the buyer in 6 variants:

  • Classic;
  • Comfort;
  • Luxe;
  • Sunrise;
  • Prestige;
  • Premium

The price ranges from 870,000 to 1,200,000 rubles.

Now you can compare Kia Soul and Hyundai Creta, compare them with Sportage, and choose the most suitable model. Alternatively, you can consider the Kia KX3 SUV. The vehicle has a stylish design, spacious functional interior, excellent, high level of safety. It is in no way inferior to the previously considered models, it has a pronounced personality, therefore it will be an excellent manifestation of your style. So you can make a more objective decision and buy a really decent car.

According to statistics, the most popular type of car in Russia is crossovers, and a budget crossover is the dream of almost every second driver. Therefore, the Hyundai Creta model, which first appeared on the Russian market in 2016, was eagerly awaited by many.

Let's discuss whether the Korean crossover has met expectations. What is good about Hyundai Gretaand also what limitations and weak spots does this model have?

List of clear advantages

Price

Hyundai Creta confidently overtook its competitors at the price of the budget model. This is perhaps the best price for a car of this quality on the market. You can buy a crossover from 789,000 rubles, while the main competitor in the class Renault Kaptur offers customers its car from 879,000 rubles, Kia Sportage - from 1,179,000 rubles, and Nissan, Mitsubishi and Toyota require more for basic versions of their models. more. Prices are presented according to official dealers for 2017.

Equipment

Paradoxically, the equipment of the car is both a plus and a minus. The disadvantage is that most of the seemingly standard options are only present in the latest version. But let's talk about this below. In the meantime, let's discuss the technical equipment of the top-end configuration.

In the maximum version of the model, the car owner is provided with the following options:

  • Starting the engine from the button;
  • Leather seats;
  • All wheel drive clutch lock;
  • Electric power steering;
  • Descent assistance system;
  • Hill Start Assist system.

Latest technology allows for unimpeded uphill climbing with a slope of 50⁰... In this case, you can stop, stand for a few seconds and continue moving freely. This option, as well as the system "Era GLONASS", which allows you to call for help in the event of an accident, comes standard with the car. The clutch lock function will fully reveal Greta's capabilities as a crossover. With its help, you will confidently overcome the washed-out dirt road. Greta's cross-country ability is very similar to Renault Kaptur, the main competitor in the Korean class and price range.

Salon

In comparison with Renault Kaptur and Duster, the Korean crossover wins, both in terms of aesthetics and in terms of interior comfort. Inside Greta you feel like driving a European car. Despite the fact that plastic is inexpensive, the finish is attractive, and the embossed surface of the dashboard even makes you think that it is leather.

The steering wheel is adjustable not only in height but also in reach. Although this option is presented only in the maximum version, the Kaptur even in the top configuration no calibration provided departure. The seats can also be adjusted in height, reach and angle. This versatile setting allows the driver to feel comfortable behind the wheel of the car, and the lateral support of the seats securely fixes the body in corners. I would also like to note the sound insulation, which is much better in Hyundai.

In terms of trunk volume, the "Korean" is ahead of Kaptur: 431 liters versus 378 liters. Moreover, Greta has a full-size wheel under the trunk, while Kaptur has just a stowaway. But Hyundai loses in this indicator to the front-wheel drive version of the Duster, where the trunk volume is 475 liters, and the all-wheel drive version is 408 liters. But the clear leader in spaciousness was Kia with a volume of 491 liters.

Feeling of driving

What is good about Hyundai Greta, so it is a combination of dynamics and smoothness. A 6-speed automatic transmission, which is used on crossovers with a 2-liter engine, played a role here. Thanks to the perfectly tuned gear ratio, the car accelerates faster and more confidently.

It should be noted the steering wheel calibration. At low speeds, it is softer, and when you press the gas pedal, it becomes harder. This distribution of effort makes the road feel better.

Although she is based on the Solaris, Greta does not have the same suspension problems as her older brother. The multi-link suspension of the Hyundai Creta imperceptibly swallows all the unevenness of the road, allowing passengers to feel comfortable, as if they are in an expensive German car. Something similar happens behind the wheel of a Duster - this Frenchman also confidently absorbs bumps and freely cuts through dirt roads. And Kaptur engineers cannot boast of such a thing. Their suspension is more sensitive. According to this indicator, the new Sportage was unpleasantly surprised, which overcomes the terrain even harder than its opponents, although in cost it goes far ahead.

Disadvantages and weaknesses

The most striking disadvantage of this model is the configuration. The marketers of the Korean company interested the market with an incredibly low price - 749 thousand rubles (as of 2016). This is the starting cost of Greta's budget version. But what can they offer for this price? In the basic configuration of the crossover, there is not even an air conditioner, not to mention heated seats or a lift assist system. Even the original LED headlights, which give Hyundai modernity and style, only come in higher trim levels. According to this indicator, Renault confidently wins, where there is an air conditioner, a heated rear window, and an engine start button.

By the way, Greta's maximum configurations are slightly higher. The all-wheel drive 2-liter crossover with the Comfort Plus package will cost 1,200 thousand rubles, and Renault with the same characteristics will cost 1,180 thousand rubles.

Unlike Greta, Kaptur manufacturers can offer four gearbox options - 5 and 6-speed mechanics, a 4-level automatic and a variator. At Hyundai, the case with the transmission is simpler - a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Due to the variator, Renault turned out to be slightly more economical than its opponent. The difference of 1 liter is not great, but when calculated for thousands of kilometers, it becomes more noticeable. Many buyers in Greta's lineup lack the 2-liter engine and manual transmission. In this respect, Renault Duster and Kaptur have a huge advantage.

Another disadvantage of Greta before the "French" is the clearance - 190 mm versus 204 mm for Kaptur and 210 mm for Duster. Given the larger size of Renault wheels, Hyundai clearly loses off-road when possible to overcome steep bumps and slopes. And when installing a steel crankcase protection, the clearance is reduced by another 10-12 mm, which is comparable to the clearance of some sedans.

A clear drawback that many Creta users have noted is the lack of a standard option like cruise control. Moreover, this function is not even in the latest crossover configuration, which costs almost 1.2 million. This fact surprised many car owners.

The weak points of the car are the immobilizer and automatic transmission. Many car owners have encountered a problem when starting the engine. They started it up every other time, and coming to the official dealer, everything started working. The problem is that the immobilizer and the fuel pump need to be given two to three seconds to check after inserting the key, and then turn it. Some car owners have eliminated the problem by stripping the contacts on the immobilizer.

Another weak link of the model is the fastidious machine, which, it seems, does not tolerate slipping more than others. With an untimely oil change, the wear of the clutch and friction bagel occurs much faster. Therefore, it is important to monitor the condition of the fluid and promptly replace it. Hydraulic plates are also a nuisance of automatic transmissions, which quickly fail when overheated or low-quality oil. Moreover, for boxes of type "L", "M" and "G" this element is not universal, and the driver will have to select the appropriate hydraulic plate for a particular transmission.

Summarize

Considering all of the above, it is safe to say that Hyundai Greta is a good crossover, which turned out to be a worthy competitor to Renault Kaptur, and in some respects even surpassed it. It is perfectly prepared for Russian roads and well equipped from the technical side (except for the lack of cruise control). In comparison with the Duster, it is slightly less passable, but more comfortable and technically equipped. And minor shortcomings in front of the Sportage pale against the background of a gigantic difference in price.

Greta is a comfortable and modern vehicle that performs well both on the highway and off-road. There is no dispute about tastes, but one thing is for sure - the Korean newcomer has already occupied a niche in this segment and will continue to amaze consumers.

Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular cars in Russia. And among SUVs, it is generally in first place. A few years ago, Hyundai was not even taken seriously as a global automotive manufacturer of reliable vehicles. We see the same situation now with the Chinese car industry.

SUV segment

The niche of affordable SUVs in Russia is a tidbit. And many are trying to grab their market share. Last year, there were numerous reviews of the Belarusian-assembled crossover Geely Atlas, which in an interview was called a competitor to Hyundai Creta. Now we see that there was no worthy opponent.

Possible counterpart?

And now history repeats itself with the second Chinese car of the Belarusian assembly - Zotye Coupa. It has already appeared in Russia, although it is not even in Belarus yet.

Chinese car industry

Russian motorists do not take Chinese cars seriously and often speak negatively about them. And after all, they have nothing to argue with. Companies from the Middle Kingdom have been trying to enter the Russian market for a long time and people are familiar with their models firsthand.

The first Chinese cars that hit the Russian market only caused negative news. They were cheap and of poor quality. But it must be admitted that the PRC auto industry is developing rapidly. Today, Chinese cars can be seen more often on Russian roads. And there are even satisfied owners. Naturally, the Chinese are still far from Korea and Europe, but we must admit that they are developing rapidly, the quality of cars is growing. Even the prices have already approached the Korean ones.

Prices and configuration

But back to the Hyundai Creta and Zotye Coupa. Either way, these two cars hit the same SUV price segment.

And if Creta has already won our trust and love, then Coupa is a dubious product. Moreover, for the same money. Now in Russia they offer a car in the most expensive Royal configuration, for which you will have to pay 1 250 000 rubles and more. The most affordable equipment Exalted on the mechanics is promised to be delivered later. This version will cost 990,000 rubles.

Anonymous, of unknown quality and in the same price segment! But there is definitely something to attract the attention of buyers - rich equipment even in the basic configuration. Already in the base, the Coupa has: leather seats, neon interior lighting, dual-zone climate control, button start engine, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a rear view camera and much more. But the heated seats in our northern country for some reason, "not delivered." How good the car is - only time will tell. There is already interest in him.

Reviews

The main thing is clearance! I stopped looking closely at every pebble on the road. Larger wheels add comfort when driving on rough roads. I don't have to look out from behind the wheel onto the road (even with my rather big height). Pleased when leaving for nature - even with a front drive, you can drive where the road was previously closed.

A little more detail about the expense, since it worries many. We can say that he pleases. It all depends on the driving style of the particular driver, the season and where you have to drive. The first three thousand winter (though in our area last winter was warm) the flow rate was 9.4-9 liters per hundred city-highway about 50:50. It seemed a lot, but spring came, the run-in ended and the flow rate dropped to 8 liters.

There are several reasons to forget about dynamic driving. Somewhat dissatisfied with the automatic transmission algorithm. With prolonged climbs (or overtaking), you almost always have to use manual mode, since the automatic machine engages a lower gear early and then, apart from the roar of the engine, there is little sense.

In general, I like the car. Despite the simple interior and average appearance, Hyundai Greta is one of those that are larger inside than outside (thanks to the designers), while not annoying even with small jambs. And ... This is a car rather for the city, for traffic jams, for a leisurely drive. Such a workhorse for every day.

Vladimir, a review about Hyundai Greta 1.6 on a front-wheel drive machine.

I drove at night in normal conditions without rain, without bumping and splashing headlights - the light on Crete is very weak. This is the first problem. The second - the car (in my opinion) is light, holds the road in principle, but due to poor lighting it flew into a frozen roadside track, it's good that there was a low speed, pulls off and jumps. The feeling of an unbalanced car is present, maybe it's a matter of habit, I don't know.

At low speeds in the snow, this ease, even in a thrill, paddles normally and skids a little, if you add, but stabilization, in principle, keeps it without steering interference. It works quite often. The engine is not particularly run-in, but it gave heat when overtaking. Frankly, the engine is weak. Maybe for now.

The machine heats up quickly and efficiently. I put 23 in the book, and forgot (climate). True, with frosts in minus 20-30, it tightens the windows when driving for a long distance, turn it on to normal mode, it passes. We will see how the condo and the climate will work in the summer. The ergonomics of the cabin is generally normal. The doors do not close the first time, maybe from frost.

Owner review of Hyundai Creta 2.0 with automatic and all-wheel drive

Where could I buy?

In the first week, there was a knock in the trunk, did not find it until I got everything out of the trunk, including the shelves and the spare wheel. Found clatter in the trunk lock ... I turned to the dealer, pulled up - corrected.

The second week, the next day after visiting the dealer, the tire pressure sensor caught fire, checked that the pressure was normal. I drove a couple of days more - I again clinked the trunk lock and gradually stopped closing from the first, second or fifth time. I visited the dealer, changed the lock, did something with the tire pressure sensors, the lamp stopped burning

At a run of 1,300 km, the consumption gradually decreased from run-in 18-20 to 10.2 on the highway at 100/120 and to 12-14 in the city. And yes, guys, this is a 95 G drive)) Mileage 4,000 km, no more problems.

Of the minuses of Hyundai Creta, I note that both the engine and the interior cool down quickly, not tightness - it comes through from the windows when closed, when reclining the seats, blowing in the trunk is very noticeable, a lot of crickets, the trunk lock claps in the cold, road safety is directly throws out the tracks,
there is no lumbar support - the back gets tired after 400 km of the track, the audio is very mediocre, it is treated with a minimum of head replacement.

Nikita, a review about Hyundai Creta 2.0 with a front-wheel drive automatic machine.

123 forces are quite enough for city driving, it is silly to expect any unrealistic acceleration rates from an urban crossover. In driving conditions with smooth acceleration on the streets, this engine is enough for the eyes. The 6-speed mechanics turned out to be cool and comfortable - short travel, precise shifting and electronic assistants do their job.

It turns out that you seem to be on a manual transmission, and the car still does not give full control over itself, but to call it a minus is complete nonsense. You just sit down and drive, getting used to everything in a matter of minutes. The only thing to get used to is the electronic gas pedal, the delay of which is felt for about a second.

Well, the appearance, it is determined for everyone in their own way. For example, I really like her. Strong and dashing silhouette in a small body. Although, by the way, there is a lot of space inside the car, front and back - I still don't understand how they were able to achieve such a result.

Video review of Hyundai Creta

The suspension is moderately stiff. In my memory, of the crossovers with a similar wheelbase, the softest is Qashqai, the toughest is Suzuki Grand Vitara. Creta is somewhere in the middle. The suspension is not very elastic (like the Tiguan), but not flabby (like the previous Hyundai). Small bumps go well, speed bumps are not very good if you go at a speed of more than 30 km / h. Large holes depending on speed. On small - normal, medium.

The steering wheel of Kreta obeys well, does not heel - the handling is at the average level of C-class cars of the Focus type, which is very good. The steering wheel itself is light, at speed it becomes heavier, but non-linear, i.e. already at low speed it becomes quite heavy. It is light only in the parking lot and when driving at speeds up to 10 km / h. Noise isolation is average, very quiet at low speeds, then mediocre.

The engine follows the gas pedal well up to 60-80 km / h. Then he starts to dull. Above 100-120 km / h it is already starting to howl. The box, again up to these speeds, works just fine. All this points to the urban essence of the car - it is good to drive on urban roads of average lousy and not too fast. Ideal for Moscow and the region.

The interior design, dashboard is simple but cute. Like all Hyundai, Creta has a very good appetite. The track is 9 liters, the city with traffic jams and warming up - 13 liters. Well, this is a fee for an atmospheric engine, vigorous starts from a traffic light and a classic automatic machine - you can't go anywhere. The brakes are again average - not sharp, but informative, though somewhere from the middle of the brake pedal travel.

The build quality of the car is normal, but the disease with the closing of the fifth door is present - you have to slam hard. I really do not recommend refueling the 92nd and saving on engine oil (take Total Quartz) - because of this, seizures in the cylinders may appear in two-liter engines.
