The world of commercial vehicles lives by its own laws. Here the life of successful models is longer. Why release a new generation, develop a new body, change the image, if not because of the appearance these cars get? This tuning is useless.

Here, practicality, the volume of the "trunk" (in the sense of the cargo compartment), endurance, fuel consumption, reliability and other factors are at the forefront. Appearance is not in the first place here.

New touches

The Peugeot Boxer began selling in 2006, and the exterior faded over time. The designers have tried to modernize and refine the appearance. The new Peugeot Boxer received different headlights with stylish LED lights, a retouched radiator grille, and a modified bumper. The touches did not change the appearance, but they were able to modernize the look of the Peugeot Boxer. In addition, the Peugeot boxer was previously produced in the Combi version with side and rear windows. Now only the Fourgon version with blank panels is available. There is also a variation of Chasis with a bare chassis, but it is not popular in our open spaces.

The interior has changed slightly. All doors, including the rear ones, received reinforced hinges, several additional compartments for small things appeared in the cabin, the dashboard changed the style and became more informative. The steering wheel, as well as the gear lever, can now be sheathed in leather. Perhaps the most noticeable change to the interior is the fact that you can now buy a Peugeot Boxer in the Professional configuration, where a touchscreen display with navigation will be placed on the center console.

Also find out and.

In terms of comfort, the Peugeot model has grown, but the ergonomics are still not ideal. Free view is hampered by the lower thickening of the front pillars, the luggage compartments in the door panels are lower than we would like, the handbrake is in a suboptimal place (to the left of the driver, closer to the floor), and the steering wheel adjustment only by the departure and the absence of presettings for the angle of inclination complicates the task upon reaching a comfortable position. In many respects, and due to the fact that for this price the designers of Peugeot Boxer tried to provide the maximum volume of the luggage compartment. Therefore, the seats are moved as far forward as possible. This means that you have to take a vertical cargo landing.

In terms of equipment, the Peugeot Boxer is well rehabilitated. There is a rear-view camera (optional), assistance when descending from the mountain / starting when going up, parking sensors, rain / light sensors, cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system, AUX and USB slots. It is noteworthy that the standard equipment of the Boxer Peugeot 2019 (pictured) includes an ESP system, a frontal airbag, and power windows. The rest will have to be ordered.

The functionality of the Peugeot Boxer has grown. Now there are two steps in the front bumper, standing on which you can easily clean the windshield from dirt, and the size of the cargo compartment is amazing. Depending on the wheelbase and height, the volume of the compartment can vary from 8 to 17 cubic meters. m.

Getting under way

Under the hood, the Peugeot Boxer is an old familiar 2.2-liter diesel engine, with good technical characteristics. It is offered in two boost options - 130 and 150 hp. There is also a 3-liter diesel engine with 180 hp, but the reality is that this modification is not offered for sale. There is also one gearbox. Only 6-speed mechanics, automatic for the Peugeot Boxer model is not provided.

The Peugeot Boxer suspension is well received. As a result of the fact that the model received a strong subframe, reinforced shock absorbers, it became more manageable (see the test drive video). We worked on soundproofing - if the old diesel engine hummed monotonously, and it was noticeable, now a minimum of sounds reaches the pilot.

Not without complaints. The steering wheel of the Peugeot Boxer is empty. At speeds over 100 km / h, the steering wheel would benefit from more information content. Although the car is not built to drive at speeds over 100, it has a different element.

The ground clearance of the van is quite good, yet I don't want to use it to the fullest. Because the Peugeot Boxer shakes well when an unloaded car finds bumps on the road. However, this is a fixable problem.

For about 3000 euros, you can buy a Peugeot Ioxer with a spring suspension in the driver's seat, which will absorb potholes. But this is a double-edged sword. In our open spaces, where there are no roads, comfort can go sideways. The driver will ignore road bumps, bringing closer the demise of levers, shock absorbers, and the chassis in general.

The engine pulls smoothly from the bottom, and the gear ratios are optimally matched. “This is enough for the Peugeot Boxer, even in a loaded state, not to fall out of the stream and to feel like one. Fuel consumption per 100 km is quite adequate and amounts to about 10-11 l / 100 km (again - with a full load of 2.2 tons).

External impressions

Valery, 42 years old:

“I took a Peugeot Boxer at the beginning of 2019. Body color - silver, equipment - professional: with tow bar, multimedia and other accessories. During the year, I managed to roll almost 60 thousand. The overall impression is positive.

There have never been any problems with the car. I had to go on long trips to other cities - I also showed myself from a normal side. On the highway, he surely drowns, takes about 8-9 liters on the highway. The tank volume of 90 liters can actually be enough for a thousand km - it's checked. The Webasto heater + additional stove helps out perfectly. Before the boxter there was a 1996 VW T4 caravel, gasoline, I tried diesel for the first time, I don't want more gasoline cars.

If we talk about the shortcomings of the Peugeot Boxer, then the quality of the painting suffers - in some places the varnish began to fly off, and the quality of the interior trim would also be better. Of the troubles that happened - a bent disk (thanks to the roads), and the side glass broken by a blown out stone (thanks one more). The Peugeot Boxer did not cause any more problems. Given how much it costs, I believe it will beat the cost over the next year. A normal commercial vehicle. "

A little afterword

Where can you buy a car? It is logical that an authorized dealer. He can offer cars with different equipment options, as well as provide a warranty for vans. According to the latest news, the price in Russia for a 2019 Peugeot boxer starts at 1 million 770 thousand rubles. This is a basic configuration with a 130 horsepower engine. If you order additional options, such as a rear-view camera or a navigation system, the cost of the van can go over the mark of 2 million rubles.

However, there are certain ways to save money. You can wait for the new year, when the start of sales of the 2019 models is announced. Then the cost of last year's Peugeot Boxers in Russia will decrease. Well, if the amount seems too high, then you can pay attention to the used car market. So, a used Peugeot boxer car can be taken for an amount of 7, -th thousand cu. A car 2-3 years old with low mileage can be purchased for 15-16 thousand cu.

Peugeot Boxer rivals include Citroen Jumper, FIAT Ducato, Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter / Vito, Renault Master, and VW Transporter. The Boxer is going to win this fight for the Peugeot buyer by:

Peugeot Boxer FV 330 L2H1 2.2 HDI 100 model marking decoding

To distinguish between models, the manufacturer uses a special letter marking:

  • FV - body type designation: FT - full metal van; ChC - chassis; Comby - cargo-passenger (in this case, a glazed van is presented);
  • 330 - full weight of a car - 3000 kg (333 - 3300 kg; 335 - 3500 kg; 440 - 4400 kg);

Vehicle device

The Peugeot Boxer model is designed and manufactured taking into account various factors. The design virtually eliminates the accumulation of dust and dirt in hard-to-reach places. Almost 2/3 of the construction material is galvanized steel. The external surfaces are double galvanized and 5 coats of a special protective compound. This approach reliably protects the truck from corrosion.

The material used for the Peugeot Boxer body cladding is steel sheets up to 1.8 mm thick. This is enough to withstand various road and mechanical shocks. In addition, the chassis with increased rigidity gives additional strength to the automotive structure.

The front suspension of the Peugeot Boxer is well adjusted. It, together with the power steering, guarantees high maneuverability and ease of vehicle control in general. Even in the original set of the Boxer, a modern anti-lock braking system is provided, and the model can be re-equipped with an ASR slip control system, an overtaking sensor, a rearview camera, ultrasonic detectors and parking sensors.

Driver's seat equipment

The driver's seat, in contrast to the passenger's, is equipped with a variety of adjustments, which allows you to conveniently control transport. The model is initially equipped with external electrically adjustable and electrically heated mirrors. Each mirror consists of 2 elements (one spherical) - this reduces "dead zones" and gives a feeling of complete control of the situation. High seating position and large windows provide good visibility for the driver.

Advantages and disadvantages of the model

When comparing Peugeot Boxer cars with competing truck brands with similar characteristics, this model is better in the combination of price and quality.

The Peugeot Boxer salons are more comfortable and roomy than their competitors, this is the merit of the leaders of the French car industry, since they really prefer ergonomic indicators. The model is equipped with only advanced equipment and a powerful traction motor, which is able to accelerate even a loaded car to maximum speed in a short time with low fuel consumption.

But the Peugeot Boxer model also has disadvantages, which are associated with the adaptation of the European car to domestic roads, temperatures and the quality of maintenance. Particularly problematic Peugeot Boxer units in Russian operating conditions are steering tips, electronics and ball joints. The car takes a long time to warm up in winter, but the cabin is still cold.

Is a reliable, economical, multifunctional truck that fully complies with Euro-4 environmental standards.

The scope of the Peugeot Boxer is unusually wide, we will consider the main options for its use.

Peugeot Boxer - description of features

Peugeot Boxer allows you to transport large enough cargo. Peugeot Boxer dimensions depend on the specific vehicle modification. In different versions of the Peugeot Boxer delivery, the length of the roof and the height of the cargo compartment vary, so the useful volume of the body is from 8 to 17 cubic meters.

According to the body type of the Peugeot Boxer, there are the following types:

Van. This is the most popular Peugeot Boxer body type, the characteristics of which allow this truck to be used for a wide range of tasks. There are two variants of vans: all-metal (FT) and glazed (FV).

In the body of the "van" Peugeot Boxer, the dimensions of which are quite large, you can transport people, furniture, food, manufactured goods, and various equipment. A car with such a body is suitable for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergencies, ambulance services and other emergency services.

Combi is a combination of the advantages of a cargo van and a minibus. With a Combi body, the Peugeot Boxer has unique characteristics. This is a great alternative to a standard minivan in terms of price, capacity, and passenger comfort. You can accommodate up to 9 people, while a regular minivan can accommodate no more than 7-8 people.

Chassis cab (ChC). This is the most versatile body type that allows you to achieve any functionality by installing the equipment you need on the frame. There are an unlimited number of options for using the Peugeot Boxer with a ChC body, for example:

  • Onboard platform;
  • Isothermal van;
  • Tow truck;
  • Dump truck;
  • Isothermal van with a refrigeration unit (refrigerator);
  • Furniture van;
  • Tank;
  • Manufactured goods van;
  • Truck for transporting a car, yacht or snowmobile.

With the ChC body, you can do almost any job by fitting the special equipment you need to the Peugeot Boxer frame. This is also facilitated by the outstanding technical characteristics of this car, in particular, the Peugeot Boxer has a very solid carrying capacity - up to 1900 kg with a useful body volume of up to 17 cubic meters. Therefore, this compact yet powerful truck covers almost any need for small and medium-sized businesses.

In general, if your business is somehow connected with cargo transportation, for the Peugeot Boxer with its versatility, you will definitely find a job for you.

Peugeot Boxer - technical characteristics: how not to get lost in a variety of modifications

To navigate in the description of specific modifications of the Peugeot Boxer, you need to know its main parameters and their designation.

The French Peugeot Boxer is a very popular model of a commercial van in the Russian Federation and the most dangerous competitor to the domestic GAZelle. Since the beginning of 2000, Russia has become one of 3 places where the car is produced. The reasons for the success of the car in the world market are called high comfort, excellent build quality and optimal dimensions of the Peugeot boxer.

Peugeot Boxer 1

1994 was the premiere year for the Peugeot Boxer. Initially produced as a light-duty truck, van, chassis, minibus. Until 2006, the model did not undergo significant changes. Characteristic features of the first Boxer family:

  • high reliability five-speed gearbox, manual or 4-speed automatic;
  • independent suspension of the lever-spring system, located at the front, at the rear - dependent arrangement with longitudinal springs;
  • transverse arrangement of the motor;
  • at the heart of a powerful frame-body bearing chassis;
  • rack and pinion steering system.

In terms of external characteristics, the overall dimensions of the Peugeot Boxer were somewhat different from the analogs of the second generation:

  • height varies from 215 to 286 cm;
  • length 475-560 cm;
  • the width is slightly more than 202 cm;
  • the distance between the axles of the front and rear wheels is from 285 to 370 cm.

The weight of the Boxer in its various modifications is 2900–3500 kg.

At the beginning of the 2000s, the Boxer was slightly modernized. The exterior has become different: headlights are installed, the front bumper and mirrors have increased, plastic moldings have been added. The interior design has changed a bit. Among the changes in the power unit: engines appeared with 2.3 liters, 16 valves, 128 hp. and 2.8 liters at 146 hp, but the 1.9 liter diesel was discontinued.

Peugeot Boxer 2

In 2006, the Boxer underwent a significant modernization, the tasks of which were to update the design and technical component of the car. Peugeot has acquired a more trendy look of the body, replacing the obsolete cubic forms. The bumper is enlarged, a U-shaped radiator grille is added, the headlights take on a curved look. Improved visibility due to low planted plan. The wheelbase and wheel arches are increased.

Peugeot Boxer of the second generation began to be produced in four body types.

  1. The van is the most common version on the market. There are two modifications - glazed (FV) and all-metal (FT). Used to transport goods, people. Plays the role of company emergency vehicles.
  2. Chassis - you can install any equipment on the frame, which expands the range of Peugeot use. This option has shown itself well as a tow truck, dump truck, isothermal van.
  3. The Combi is an interesting specimen that combines the features of a minibus and a van. A great alternative to a minivan.
  4. Minibus is a high-comfort vehicle for transporting passengers.

Depending on the modification, the reference dimensions for the Boxer body are as follows:

  • the length is presented in four versions - 496, 541, about 600 and 636 cm;
  • width l2h2 is 205 cm;
  • standard height - 252 cm, increased - 276;
  • wheelbase of three types: 300, 345 and 403 cm;
  • body volume from 8 to 11.5 cubic meters m;
  • internal heights: 166, 193 and 217 cm.

The volume of the fuel tank of the Peugeot boxer is 90 liters. The maximum transport speed is 165 km / h. The average fuel consumption in the city is 11 liters per 100 kilometers, along the highway - 8.4.

Among the cars of this class, Peugeot is the most economical car with a modern environmental protection system.

The Boxer power unit is presented in six main variants:

  1. 2.2-liter diesel with 110, 130 or 150 horsepower.
  2. 3-liter diesel in 145, 156 and 177 horsepower.

Changes concerning the exterior and interior of vehicles took place in 2008 and 2012. The new generation Peugeot has fifty modification options. There is an easy way to find out the technical data of a car: the information is encrypted in the index. For example: Peugeot Boxer L2H2 2.2 HDi (250) 4dv. van, 120 HP s, 6MKPP, 2006–2014 The index should be read from the final values:

  • year of issue. This model of the Peugeot Boxer was produced from 2006 to 2014;
  • transmission data. Mechanics, 6 steps;
  • engine power - 120 hp;
  • body type - four-door van;
  • engine type - turbo diesel;
  • engine volume - 2.2 liters;
  • permissible load height (index H with designation 2). In the example, the average is 1932 millimeters;
  • permissible length of load (index L with designation 2). Average - 3120 mm.

The boxer has advantages, but drivers also note disadvantages, which include a short manufacturer's warranty, rapid wear of the chassis and suspension, which is the most repairable unit in a car. Benefits:

  • comfortable lounge;
  • minimum fuel consumption;
  • high speed;
  • carrying capacity;
  • pleasant appearance.

The Boxer's high profitability is noted: the car pays for itself in about 2 years, however, the cost of maintenance and frequent repairs can increase this period to 3-4 years.

The Peugeot Boxer is a popular commercial van developed by the Fiat Centro Stile designers. The model is produced by a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroen and the Fiat Group. The chassis of this family was developed taking into account European requirements for safety and environmental friendliness, and one of its advantages is a wide range of various modifications.

The Peugeot Boxer received its modern design in 2006. In Russia, the mass distribution of the model began later (together with the appearance of domestic competitors in the person of GAZelle cars). The French product quickly acquired its client due to its interesting design, affordable cost and comfort of work.

The main advantages of the Peugeot Boxer:

  • the ability to manage with category "B" rights;
  • roomy body;
  • best-in-class lifting capacity;
  • affordable price.

Currently, the Peugeot Boxer is produced at factories in Italy, France and Russia.

The official premiere of the Peugeot Boxer took place in 1994. However, the history of the model began much earlier. In the late 1970s, the PSA group entered into a partnership with the Fiat brand. The companies agreed to jointly develop and produce small commercial trucks.

1st generation

The first fruits of the partnership were presented in 1981. The J5 model turned out to be quite solid, but did not receive much distribution. However, it was she who became the predecessor of the Peugeot Boxer. The creation of the model was carried out by representatives of the Sevel enterprise, which united the employees of PSA and Fiat. Peugeot Boxer (like some other cars of the French brand) received "twins" in the person of Citroen Jumper and Fiat Ducato.

The family included 4 modifications: chassis, van, light truck and small minibus. Features of the first generation:

  • reliable 5-speed manual transmission (all versions of the model were equipped with it);
  • independent lever-spring suspension at the front
  • strong base on the frame, capable of withstanding heavy loads;
  • transverse arrangement of the motor.

The line of Peugeot Boxer I engines included a 2-liter gasoline unit (110 hp) and 5 diesel engines (68-128 hp) of various sizes. Optionally, the car could be equipped with an all-wheel drive system.

On the latest versions of the family, a 4-speed automatic transmission has become available.

For almost 8 years, the Peugeot Boxer has not undergone major changes, and interest in the model began to fade, because in 2002 the French brand performed a restyling of the car. The radiator grille has become more expressive and received an enlarged brand badge. In front, instead of single headlights, block headlights appeared. Grown in the size of the bumper and rear-view mirrors. The interior design has slightly changed. The technical component has also changed. The developers abandoned the 1.9-liter diesel engine, adding 2.8-liter and 2.3-liter units (146 and 128 hp) to the lineup. The changes made the Peugeot Boxer more interesting.

2nd generation

In 2006, the presentation of the second generation of the car took place, which has not lost its relevance at the present time. The Peugeot Boxer II was developed by Italian and French representatives. Among their priorities was the updating of the design and structural components of the model, which remained unchanged for a long time. As a result, the changes affected the engine range, individual units, interior design and appearance. The number of Peugeot Boxer modifications has grown to almost 50 units.

The main role in creating the design of the novelty was played by the specialists of the Italian branch of Fiat Centro Style. Straight lines of the body (cubic design), gradually losing popularity, are a thing of the past. The model received a large bumper, complemented by a U-shaped radiator grille. Below it is the modest-sized bonnet. The picture was supplemented with curved headlights. The oversized windshield and low position of the glass line improve visibility. Volumetric wheel arches and vertical rear-view mirrors completed the image. The cabin of the new Peugeot Boxer accommodated 3 people. In the passenger version, a sliding door appeared on the right (in addition to the front swing doors). The salon has also been updated. An on-board computer was installed on the dashboard made of soft plastic. The number of shelves, nice accessories and storage space for various items has increased (niche for papers, glove box, cup holder, pull-out table and other compartments).

For the second generation, 2.2- and 3-liter units were developed. In 2010, the engine range was updated.

In Russia, the Peugeot Boxer II was very popular, and its production soon after the premiere opened in the village of Rosva (Kaluga Region). For the production of cars, the domestic enterprise used many foreign components. The bumpers, furnishings and seats were purchased from the French company Fauresia, and the sheet metal parts were supplied by the Spanish company Gestamp Automocion.

In 2008, the second Peugeot Boxer underwent a restyling, which affected the appearance. The car got a massive lining that stretched at the level of the wheels for the length of the side. The motor range has changed - more economical units have been added to it. The model received a set of systems that improve the safety of passengers and the driver.

In 2012, the Peugeot Boxer underwent another restyling, receiving a more comfortable interior and minor design changes. Already in the basic version, the car was equipped with seats with many adjustments and power windows. A distinctive feature of the model is the ergonomic handles that allow you to open the door with minimal effort.

The body was made of materials of increased strength, which increased the service life of the car and gave additional rigidity. The problem of corrosion in the restyled versions has been practically solved. No dirt accumulated on the body, and the electroplating of the elements ensured maximum durability.

Technical changes to the model were minimal.

The scope of the Peugeot Boxer family has always been unusually wide. The model made it possible to transport bulky goods, the dimensions of which depended on the modification of the machine. The useful volume of individual versions reached 17 cubic meters.

The car was produced in the following body types:

  1. The van is the most popular version used for various tasks. The modification had 2 variations: FV (glazed) and FT (all-metal). The van allowed transporting equipment, people, food, furniture and other items. The car was suitable for work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police and emergency services.
  2. Chassis is a universal body option that allows you to add functionality, taking into account the client's goals, by mounting equipment on the frame. There were many directions of use of the modification: a tow truck, an onboard platform, a refrigerator, an isothermal van, a dump truck, a manufactured goods van, a tank and others. The chassis made it possible to do almost any job due to the possibility of installing special equipment and high carrying capacity (up to 1900 kg).
  3. Combi is a version that combines the advantages of a minibus and a van. The Peugeot Boxer Combi model had unique parameters and was a good alternative to the classic minivan.
  4. The minibus is a passenger variation with the ability to change the configuration of the cabin and an increased level of comfort. Modification of the Peugeot Boxer Tour Transformer received folding sofas. At the same time, the salon could be transformed by shifting them. As a result, the minibus easily turned into a mobile office, camper, combi or a full-fledged van.

Engine

The first modifications of the Peugeot Boxer II were equipped with 2 types of power plants: 3- and 2.2-liter diesel engines with a Common Rail system (joint development of specialists from Ford Motor Company and PSA Peugeot Citroen). The units were based on engines of the DW series (Peugeot), but had a longer service life.

Features of these engines:

  • cast iron cylinder block;
  • a control system for soot particles in engine oil;
  • durable cylinder head made of light alloy AS7;
  • timing drive with 2-row roller chain.

On the Russian market, versions with a 2.2-liter diesel engine with a rated power of 96 hp are more widespread. and a torque of 320 Nm. The 2.2-liter units also had 120 HP, the 3-liter diesels 158 HP.

In 2010, the Peugeot Boxer motor range was updated. Previous motors have been replaced with more economical and reliable versions. The line of engines includes:

  • 2.2-liter diesel (110, 130 and 150 hp);
  • 3-liter diesel (145, 156 and 177 hp).

Device

The design and construction of the Peugeot Boxer II has revolutionized the commercial van segment. A versatile and modern vehicle suited to any situation. The characteristic features of the car are an elongated hood with a slightly protruding middle part and a large radiator grill. The sophisticated reflector geometry and twin headlights provided excellent illumination of the path.

The second Peugeot Boxer surpassed its predecessor in terms of convenience and resource of work. Bumpers, hinges and doors were reinforced to withstand increased loads. The body of the car was almost entirely made of 1.8 mm steel sheets. The car has become stronger and took less damage in accidents and collisions. Additional strength of the structure was given by the chassis of increased rigidity, where a steel frame was used.

The body itself was designed to eliminate the accumulation of dirt in hard-to-reach areas. Almost 70% of the metal was galvanized steel. The outer surfaces were additionally galvanized and covered with 5 layers of protective material. This technology reliably protected the body from corrosion.

The developers have not forgotten about security either. The body structure was developed taking into account the maximum stability in frontal impact. Programmed crumple zones could absorb a strong impact and protect passengers and driver from injury.

Other body features include:

  • reinforced front doors;
  • limiting the movement of the steering column and pedal assembly (driver protection);
  • rigid frame;
  • the optimal arrangement of the front suspension units, due to which part of the frontal impact was moved under the bottom.

The chassis of the car was represented by a front axle of the Pseudo McPherson type with front independent wheels and a dependent rear axle based on springs. In some modifications, anti-roll bars were present. The steering was of the "pinion-rack" type and was supplemented by a hydraulic booster, which facilitated the driving process.

For the Peugeot Boxer II, a manual transmission with 5 or 6 speeds and front-wheel drive was chosen. They decided to abandon the automatic transmission used earlier.

Drum brakes are also a thing of the past. Disc brakes with high efficiency were installed on all wheels of the model. The basic equipment includes ABS (anti-lock braking system). Active safety in the second Peugeot Boxer was given increased attention, equipping the model with the following systems (optional):

  • electronic brake force distribution (REF), which regulates the braking of each wheel according to the situation on the road;
  • traction control (ASR), which minimizes slip during acceleration;
  • emergency braking assistant (AFU), which increases the pressure on the pedal and shortens the braking distance;
  • dynamic stabilization system (ESP), which returns the car to a given trajectory
  • an open door localization system, indicating a door that remains open by means of light indication;
  • a protective shutdown system for the fuel supply, which cuts off the fuel supply upon impact;
  • electric window safety system;
  • airbags for passengers and driver;
  • 3-point seat belts;
  • other protection systems.

Peugeot Boxer was positioned as a functional carrier of large volumes of cargo. However, this priority did not affect the size and quality of the cabin. The model was equipped with a comfortable cabin for 3 people. The gear lever was located at the instrument panel and provided an easy choice of speed. In the front part, space was allocated for the third passenger, so it was convenient for him to travel even over long distances.

The dashboard is made of soft plastic. In addition to the standard dials (fuel indicator, engine temperature, speedometer and tachometer), an on-board computer appeared. A convenient 4-spoke steering wheel could be equipped with radio control buttons.

The driver's seat was equipped with a variety of storage areas and shelves, which helped him to position himself with maximum comfort. The high seating position and large mirrors improved visibility and gave the feeling of complete control of the situation. The driver's seat was noticeably more comfortable than the passenger's. The latter had no regulations. The vertically raised backs and small pillows did not allow for comfortable accommodation. The driver's seat has received special settings that allow you to find the optimal position.

In comparison with domestic "Gazelles" and most competitors, the Peugeot Boxer looked much better in terms of driving comfort. At the same time, the cost of the model has always remained democratic, which attracted the interest of a large number of customers to it.

Price of new and used Peugeot Boxer

The basic equipment of the car looks rather poor. Even the audio system is absent in the “minimal salary”. Most options will have to be ordered separately. The version with a standard motor in the basic configuration will cost 1.01-1.05 million rubles. A similar model with a medium body will be 50-60 thousand rubles more expensive. The cost of models with a high roof starts from 1.21-1.25 million rubles.

The most expensive are the elongated versions. Prices for them start at 1.27 million rubles.

Pre-owned versions of the Peugeot Boxer are also popular due to their high reliability. The choice here is no less wide:

  • 2007-2008 models - from 200 thousand rubles;
  • 2011-2012 models - from 600 thousand rubles;
  • models 2014-2015 - from 900 thousand rubles.
