TagAZ is a major Russian car manufacturer. The main plant is located in the city of Taganrog. The enterprise started its work quite recently - in 1998. In 2008, the Taganrog Automobile Plant began production of the three-door Tagaz Tager SUV, a licensed copy of the Korean model. In 2009, a five-door version of the car, developed by the Korean engineering division of TagAZ, was put on the conveyor (Korando did not have a five-door version).
