With four hands, gently apply the velvet to the adhesive surface at an angle (it is better to start from a flat surface, and gradually lowering the fabric to smooth it to the convex part). The resulting folds must be carefully removed by stretching the fabric to the sides. Further, without wasting time, you need to cut off the excess parts of the fabric clearly along the groove in the lining (it is there that you will have to tamp the edges of the velvet), for this we use nail scissors, and without rushing, we begin to cut the fabric by 1 cm (you need to cut off the fabric with an indent from the groove of about 3- 5mm.). Cutting off all the excess, we take a tube of glue and apply it to the inside of the groove of the casing (try not to fill it entirely, otherwise, when pushing the material there, the glue will come out) and start ramming the fabric with the tips of scissors (the procedure is rather dreary, but the hand will already be at the second door " stuffed "). Finally, we cut out the holes for the door handle and the panel with buttons. We screw everything into place. DONE. We prepare the room for painting. This should be a clean, draft-free area, preferably with a minimum of dust and insects. We degrease the surfaces of the parts with a solvent, carefully rubbing it into the surface, repeat the process several times, this is important - otherwise neither the primer nor the paint will fall and unpainted bubbles will appear. Arrange the prepared parts so that, without touching them with your hands, you can approach them from all sides. It is better to work indoors alone to avoid the movement of dust in the air.

Painting:

1. Apply primer for plastic, holding the balloon at a distance of about 80-90cm. (if you bring the cylinder closer, then the soil lays down too abundantly on the surface and dries longer). It is better to apply the primer in two or three thin coats than to try to cover it abundantly with one coat. We are waiting for complete drying (15-30 min.)

2. The paint is applied in thin layers at a distance of 30-40 cm, with a break of 20-30 minutes. The number of coats varies from 6 to 10. Between 6-10 coats, you need to take breaks for about 1 hour, because together they dry much longer.

3. The varnish is applied only AFTER THE PAINT IS COMPLETELY DRY! (if possible, then you need to start applying varnish only the next day, this guarantees the quality and durability of the future part). We also apply in thin layers, holding the balloon at 30-40cm. with a break of 10-20 minutes. In the case of an abundant application of varnish, it can simply wash off even completely hardened paint, so HURRY HERE IS EXCLUDED.

Remove the sun visors (4 screws). To remove the cover of the gear shift knob, bite off the tie at the handle itself (see photo 6.1), pull out the insert from the checkpoint in the same way as when painting, unscrew four screws from the back side and disconnect the frame with the cover. Next, use a knife or a screwdriver to bend back the paper clips that attach the casing to the frame. To make a new casing and "covers" for the sun visors, you will need patterns, you will have to make them yourself. It is very simple to get a pattern for the gearbox handle - you need to unclick the old cover and attach the pieces to the material from which you will sew the cover. But over the patterns of the visors will have to be patronized.

The finished gearbox cover is put on the frame (where the clips were) and sewn around the perimeter with ordinary threads. There are enough holes. Don't forget the plastic tie at the top of the case.

1. To fix the device in the left hole of the air duct, you will need to make a plastic insert between the tachometer and the nozzle cylinder (this is a kind of washer that serves as an adapter, into the inner part of which the tachometer is inserted, and with its outer edge it lies in the groove of the air duct cylinder). I made it from a black plastic DVD box. To do this, we apply the front part of the nozzle cylinder to the plastic and draw a nail around the outer contour. The result is a circle with the outer radius of the nozzle. Next, we retreat 1-1.5 mm into the inner part and cut a circle with a cutter, then adjust the part so that it fits clearly into the grooves on the outer part of the duct. After that, you just need to cut a hole in the plastic for the tachometer itself, shifting it from the center. We insert the tachometer into the manufactured adapter and wrap it with electrical tape so that it does not fall out back, insert it into the nozzle and fasten it with screws. Then it is important that the device, being in the air duct nozzle, is not damaged by hot or cold air, therefore, in the free space behind the tachometer, it is necessary to put a porous material (for example, a sponge for washing dishes) and then seal the back part with masking tape in several layers.

Tachometer repair and adjustment.

Materials and tools: medium flat screwdriver, watch screwdriver, round nose pliers, "Super glue".

We take out the tachometer from the panel and disconnect the connector from the back.

We hold the tachometer with one hand and look at the arrow, and with the other we rotate the resistor until the arrow stands at 850-900 rpm (idle). We jam the car, turn off the unit.

Now the resistor must be fixed in this position so that it does not move from vibration. To do this, take a thin sharp object (needle, paper clip), dip it in glue and drip a drop onto the resistor.
