With this configuration, the driver has additional control over maneuvers in order to accurately navigate curves and set the trajectory. This is a very good sports bike and has earned a high place in the ranking of the best.

The only pity is that such a bike is very expensive, which is why it occupies not the highest, but a worthy place in the ranking of the best.

The vast majority of motorcycle enthusiasts admit that this model is the most beautiful at this stage in the development of the sports motorcycle industry. Nevertheless, the torque remains at the level of competitors: 114 Nm allow for a sharp start with a quick acceleration. However, all these nuances are compensated for by the very low weight of the motorcycle - in the curb condition it weighs only 196 kilograms, thanks to which it responds very briskly to the "offer" to accelerate at the cutoff.

If we disregard the technical parameters, then the attention is entirely focused on the constructive moments. Namely, on structural parts that are rather massive in appearance, such as an exhaust pipe. The second important nuance concerns the noticeable both in landing and visually the seat and rear wing lift. It looks very stylish and in the spirit of the Honda company, but it also affects the comfort and handling of the motorcycle when entering curves. At the same time, the travel of the rear lever fork with a gas shock absorber is 138.2 mm, which is slightly higher than that of competitors in the category. In general, the Honda CBR 1000 RR / RA Fireblade is a very solid bike with a simple and understandable "character", the cost of which is quite consistent with the technical side of the estimate.

The motobike, which was launched in 2012, became the most anticipated project of that season. The main heap of hopes was pinned on a lot of external changes, hotly expected by fans of Japanese grand suzuki... But, to the great regret of the crowd, the miracle did not happen: prudent manufacturers focused on modernizing the mechanical (or, in a general sense, power) part. The pistons of the four-cylinder engine were replaced with new ones, lighter (by almost 11%), but with the same working resource reserve. The volume of the engine, in general, remained unchanged - 999 cubic centimeters gave 182 horsepower and 117 Nm of torque. Compared to the leader of the rating, Kawasaki Ninja H2R - indicators are extremely ineffective.

However, the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 heralded that rare type of sports bike that has found its way around the track and beyond. The GL1800 represents the pinnacle of the Gold Wing family, crowning it with a sophisticated and unchanged seating system with well-matched lumbar support, chic design in all aspects, and some crazy torque figures along with all the technical characteristics.

The power of the engine with a volume of 1832 cc is 118 horsepower, which allows the 421-kilogram colossus to accelerate to 200 kilometers per hour. At the same time, it is significant that the torque is 167 Nm, giving the potential for a sharp jerk from the start. In general, looking at the technical part, one often gets the impression that the Gold Wing (GL1800 AirBag + Navi) has the hidden features of a sports bike - at least the corresponding Honda lineup certainly took place among the ideological inspirers of corporate engineers. One way or another, but this motorcycle turned out to be of very high quality and successful, which naturally reflected in the sales figures. The driver's seat has also undergone a number of simplifications, but they do not in the least affect the comfort and generally do not carry any more or less semantic load. Ultimately, Street Glide is seen not so much as a continuation or ideological follower of the series, as a model designed to raise unnecessary noise and reference the classic canons. It is not suitable for the first in terms of technical parameters, and for the second - in terms of "spirit", or, if you will, in terms of pronounced off-road qualities.

The two most important advantages of the model - power and lightness - give, perhaps, the most reflexive combination among all competitors in the rating. 158 horsepower at 11,900 rpm can accelerate 200 kilograms of curb weight to 265 kilometers per hour. This is quite enough to ride on city roads or intercity highways, as they say, "with a breeze." Another plus for the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 is the volume of the fuel tank, designed to hold 23 liters of gasoline. First, it's worth noting the Z1000 R Edition 2018's commitment to an overall meager color scheme with very thin and perfectly appropriate bright lines. This "trick" operates exclusively within the Kawasaki line of bikes - other companies do it more deliberately and roughly (which also has its effect).

Secondly, the four-cylinder engine delivers 111Nm of torque and 142bhp, giving a good boost right from the start. And thirdly, the curb weight of the motorcycle is only 221 kilograms, of which about 30 are on the tank. From a purely practical point of view, the Kawasaki Z1000 R Edition 2018 is still entering the time of receiving an objective assessment from consumers, since its appearance on the market took place quite recently. However, the start of sales "from the spot" is impressive - even if not in Russia, the bike has already managed to bring its creators a million dollars around the world. And even if it's too early to talk about the future fate of the motorcycle, it still deserves an honorable place in the ranking of the best.

As for the comfort parameters, in general neither experts nor users have any complaints about this side of the bike. The seat is made with strict observance of the balance of softness / stiffness, the suspension, albeit harsh, has a stroke of 135 millimeters, and the motorcycle accelerates without kicks, jerks and other indecencies.

The engineers managed to achieve the effect of charging thanks to stock wheels on 17-inch disks, an original windshield, as well as their cheap plastic linings, which make the motorcycle's appearance amazingly more expensive. If we discard all the "tinsel", in the bottom line we get advantages in the form of economy, dynamics and its full-fledged feel, as well as the amazing reliability of consumables (at least stock). Of the shortcomings, consumers complain only about the gearbox, which works in an incompletely understandable mode, but in the long term they just get used to it.

6. Ducati Panigale V4 R

Off-road fans and fans of “orange” are happy as children, because at the EICMA exhibition in Milan the Austrians (finally!) Showed the off-road 790. Even though it looks like it lacks some of the fairings, this touring enduro will surely handle it both on the track as well as on the real road. Cubic spoke wheels, good suspension jumps (240 mm), low weight (189 kg), a narrow sofa and a large fuel tank (20 liters) are reminiscent of the Dakar climates, and these are the big and naughty guys they love the most!

4. Harley-Davidson LiveWire

Harley-Davidson LiveWire Electric? This have not happened before! The serial version debuted at the EICMA exhibition in Milan, and, I will not hide, caught my eye. True, the Americans do not mention anything about its parameters and performance, however, knowing something already about, I am expecting a specific kick in the ass.

The LiveWire will be equipped with an SFF-BP fork and Showa rear suspension. The package also has Brembo Monoblock brakes, ABS, traction control and mode changeover.

3. BMW S 1000 RR

In this car, the guys at BMW finally ditched asymmetrical lights. Many people I know were delighted with this news, but I will miss the old "bully look" headlights.

In technical terms, the engine has changed. The car has become more powerful by 8 hp, and also "lost" by 11 kg. The new four-cylinder engine features a variable-phase ShiftCam gearshift, which improves the bike's flexibility. The S 1000 RR for 2019 received a specific electronics package - DTC traction control, rear wheel control and ABS Pro, four driving modes, tFT display, switch up and down, and six-axis IMU. As an option, there will also be a launch control system, a semi-active suspension, a pit-line speed limiter and a Pro driving mode, which will come in handy on the track.

This Java is originally from India. The engine is responsible for its drive with a volume of 293 cm3, similar to the Java 250/350 of the last century.

Interestingly, despite the ribbed cylinder, the machine is liquid-cooled, not air-cooled. The two chrome-plated exhausts are directed downward, the discs are spoke, and the tank is shaped like a characteristic drop. Everything looks pretty good and really looks like a Czech car. The bike is simply cute and evokes sentimental feelings, and for this it is the second place. New Java in India costs 164,000 Indian rupees (₹), or 8,620 rubles. Unfortunately, we do not know when the bike will reach Europe.

1. MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro

This motorcycle is the most powerful mass-produced naked bike. The 998cc four-cylinder is removed from the F4 RC. The machine develops maximum speed more than 300 km / h! In addition to Ohlins pendants, there is also a lot of electronics - TFT display (5-inch), throttle drive-by-wire, rear wheel control, traction control, launch control and quickshifter (+/-).

Interesting fact: during the EICMA-2018 exhibition in Milan, thanks to the votes of the audience, the Brutale 1000 received the title of “Most Beautiful Motorcycle”.
