    The first models of the car were equipped with rather noisy motors, which are modifications of the D-240 series tractor motors. For MAZ-4370, a turbocharged and intercooled engine was developed. Subsequently, by means of modifications, it was possible to bring the Minsk motors in accordance with the environmental standards for EURO-3. All models currently produced comply with the EURO-3 and EURO-4 standards. By installing common rail electronic control on MMZ motors, it was possible to achieve more economical and soft operation.
    For modifications designed to work with a trailer, as a rule, reliable and durable Russian-made SAAZ-433420 gearboxes are installed. However, untimely maintenance and oil change can significantly reduce the trouble-free service life of the unit. As for the ZF gearbox, it is noted for its high reliability in operation, as well as smoother gear shifting.
    Chassis "Zubrenok" also does not cause any particular complaints. Even in the event of a failure of the springs, their cost compared to foreign analogues is several times less. On the first MAZ-4370 models, Continental tires were installed, but later they were replaced by Ya478 from the Yaroslavl plant. According to many experts, Yaroslavl tires are seriously inferior in quality to foreign analogues. The low service life of the rear axle, which is about 10,000 km, also causes complaints, which is clearly not enough for a car of this class.


    Engine

    Currently, most MAZ-4370 vehicles are equipped with Belarusian diesel power units D-245.30 E3, which ensure compliance with the environmental standards of EURO-3.

    Engines of the D-245 series are equipped with Czech turbochargers C15 by Turbo, high-pressure fuel pumps CP3.3, electronic control units, and injectors by BOSCH, as well as coarse and fine filters of the German company Mann & Hummel.
    To supply the engine with fuel, the MAZ-4370 is equipped with fuel tanks with a capacity of 130 and 200 liters.


    Price

    A new onboard MAZ-4370 with D-245.35E4 or Commins ISF 3.8e4 engines meeting the EURO-4 environmental safety requirements costs about 1 million 600 thousand rubles. The price of a ten-year-old used truck is in the range of 400-500 thousand rubles. The cost of both new and used cars depends to a large extent on the equipment and configuration installed on the wheelbase. For used cars, the price is also determined by technical condition cars.

    For vehicles based on the MAZ 437043 chassis, a low loading height is characteristic, and as a result, a low center of gravity, which positively affects the maneuverability of the truck, even high speeds...     This truck is produced in two versions (MAZ 437043 340 and MAZ 437043 341), the difference between which lies in the length of the base and frame, respectively, and in the maximum possible length of the superstructure.     The chassis with a maximum permissible weight of 10.1 tons is equipped with a MMZ-245.30 turbodiesel with a maximum useful power 155 horse power and a mechanical five-speed gearbox SAAZ-3206. With such a combination of the power plant and gearbox to the eyeballs, a loaded car can accelerate to 85 km / h (at this value the electronic speed limiter is triggered).

    The real fuel consumption of MAZ 437043 is approximately 22-25 liters. per hundred kilometers of run in the combined cycle, which is a good indicator for a car of this class.
